I meant to post a huge, moving banner, bon voyage, yay for you thing a few days back for Kiwifever and then just lost the 'window' of opportunity due to RL.

(I'm here in Dhaka for a month-long visit.) It's telling that within one hour of meeting a Bangladeshi friend of a friend I brought up Adam, lol, but to my amazement she immediately began lamenting the fact that he didn't win AI8. Turns out she & her 16-yr old daughter watch AI on some Indian satellite TV channel they get here, and apparently Adam made quite an impression on them. I regaled her with tales of what he's been up to, educated her on how to access his youtube vids, tweets, etc., and she left with copies of FYE, Acoustic, and GNT DVD/CD. (They're apparently not available here, prob because everything here is pirated.) So that made my day. BTW, Adamtopia has really helped keep me sane these last 3 weeks. It takes an eternity to buffer the YT vids and photos, but I'm so grateful that I'm able to keep up with the latest Adam news & analysis even from here.
