Those of you without small children who wonder how some of these kids make it to ITunes success need to spend a day watching Nick and Disney. Most of the shows end at 7 min to the hour, which leaves time for videos from Selena, Victoria Justice, Big Time Rush, etc, etc. The little ones hear it and want it. By the way, I drew a line in the sand a few weeks ago and said 2 things I WILL NOT WATCH are PHINEAS AND FERB and VICTORIOUS with Victoria Justice, to me the most annoying and most autotuned creature on earth. So, when I saw the poster for Adam at the VH1 awards, who is also a presenter? Victoria Justice. My 6 yr old granddaughter is so aware of my disdain for VJ that when she went to Build a Bear the other day, she got a dog and named it Victorious just to torment me. Savvy, you are on a roll this morning. LMAO!!! This line is classic: I haven't watched Phineas and Ferb, but the morning DJs I listen to recently did several characters. They played the clips. Sounded pretty funny and they raved about the creators. Speaking of, we were ruminating on Twitter yesterday about our aspirations for Adam (the usual) and we were saying how awesome would it be if he did voice work in a DreamWorks or Disney animated film. Then Terra was watching "Tangled" a few hours ago and she said, "Adam needs to play a Disney prince." To which many of us said, YES!!! Can you imagine his speaking voice and THEN his singing voice? And they often animate the characters to resemble the voice talent (or use their mannerisms. *___*) Would love Pixar, because they're genius. Katy also has an agent at CAA (A+++) in addition to her management team and is getting movie roles ("The Smurfs" - yikes, not my first choice, but is making $$ and she'll be in "The Muppets"). One of JT's first film roles was in "Shrek 3" and now look where he is. Want this path for him!!!

Because of that I won't even go into how much I hate THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY. I guess I just need more reality in my TV shows, you know, like TRUEBLOOD. Yuk, yuk. Thought it best not to watch that with 6 year old - or 15 yr old -or 18yr old - actually, even my daughter or SIL. Talk about guilty pleasures, that is mine. Okay, 150 ppl coming at 4pm for grad party, so better give up THIS guilty pleasure for the day. Will be on after BTM to flail with the rest of you.

I asked this question late last night on the thread, and did not get an answer. So, forgive the repost, but, there are more folks online new. I used to have an email alert set so that when someone posted a new comment on the vocal masterclass thread I would be notified. It has not worked recently, so I went to look where to set it again. I cannot find where to set preferences to notify me of a new posting. Is that feature still available? If so, where can I access it? Thanks. Cassie, I just click on the "bookmark" icon at the bottom left of the page, and that seems to do it for me. Oops, I see that Justgill got there ahead of me!

My 3-year-old granddaughter spends the weekend on a pretty regular basis. She loves music and dancing and of course I have gotten her hooked on Adam (gotta start those fans young). I had itunes up on the computer and ran downstairs for something. Seconds later Live the Life came on (yes, I bought it!) and suddenly the house was shaking from the music as my grand baby had crawled up on the chair and adjusted the sound ("it wasn't loud enough to dance to grandma"). I have Bose speakers and subwoofer with the bass cranked up.
Our last homeowners newsletter was about how some of us (ahem :-[) have played their music TOOOOOO LOUDDDDD and yes, the bass that thumps your place, thumps your neighbors. Please keep your music to a respectful volume. Oopsy ;D.
Adam #2..... HEADPHONES!!!

Rihannsu.....I wear my Adam shirt(s) out and about all the time. Yes, I do get the occasional stare, but I love it. You just never know when it'll spark a conversation that'll recruit a new fan or re-kindle the interest of someone who loved him on Idol. I do my best to spread the AFL love wherever I can.... ILHSFM. Thinking bamafan has the most extensive Adam wardrobe I've ever seen and of course, her living room shrine is certainly the most extensive.

Speaking of living room shrines, Erin @jolson12miggles is selling her large Adam painting (I think it's a painting). The current bid is $450; would love to have it not just for Adam, but as an early work of hopefully a budding young artist. Unfortch, cannot afford it right now and my Craftsman house has so many windows, that I have very little continuous wall space. To bid, follow @jolson12auction

I cannot believe that I will be on a plane tonight when BTM premieres!! I will was at all of you from the sky!! as I fly over all the happy, tearful people getting to watch it. I cannot believe that VH1 moved this up just so I will miss it. Fun day ahead for me -- 17 hours, 4 airports and I will not end up anywhere wonderful like Thailand -- just going to Oregon. And no Adam concert when I finally get there!! There will be two more scheduled showings tonight --- 12:00AM and 2:00AM -- So I hope to make it to my hotel in time for the 2:00AM show! MY HOTEL BETTER HAVE VH1!!!!!!!!!!!!
