Good point, but I think (hope) she knows we love her. I keep contrasting her fierce beauty on SYTYCD with her big glasses, hat, no make-up, licking ice cream cone on one of their outings during GNT. Just as with Adam, the mix of goofy and fierce is irresistible. If she wins, the quarter of a million dollars will make her feel validated, don't you think? I have been slightly surprised that nothing has been said or even alluded to about her association/work with Adam all season. Not even in auditions. It would be an interesting back story, but instead, all we got was the sister act. The omission of the Adam connection appears to be intentional. To avoid even the appearance that the voting could be influenced. I wonder, now that the voting is over, will they mention it? Certainly some in the media will postulate that Sasha won because of the Glamberts. And, in truth, Adam's fans probably did vote more for her because they knew her from GNT. How much of a bump she got we will never know. However, all season she has gotten lots of positive feedback from the judges and the choreographers, who would not be influenced by the fact that she worked for Adam. No one has ever commented that she didn't have what it takes to win.... quite the opposite. They have always identified her as a front runner, based on her dancing and her personality. And, from Sasha's tweets it is clear that she is thrilled to have made it all the way thru to the finale, and knows that her future is bright. You know, I was about to jokingly post a reply to Adam's tweet in last night's thread but thought better of it in case it was misunderstood/misinterpreted. The gist was, "I will vote for Sasha because I think she is great and not because you are telling me to do it, buddy." LOL, and all that... Anyways... Sasha has made me call in a vote after I have vowed never to do so again for any talent show. Just didn't want to feel any regrets if she did not win; wondering if a call from me would have made a difference. I am still not sure it does as I don't trust the system but that's for another debate... Point is, she is way more gifted than I had any inkling of and deserves to know that we are not sheeple. No way would I have gone against my natural (dis)inclination to pick up the phone and vote were she not a deserving talent. Sorry for the disjointed rambling but I have to be quick as I am stealing some time between tasks and must hightail it out of here. Hope this was somewhat clear. Be back tonight after work.

@adamlambert by W.R.R.: Thnx Adam, for all that ya are, all that ya do. #LGBT
Wow, now THIS is good writing! Thanks for posting, Stardust!
And, SUGAREE, thank YOU for c/p'ing my recap in Quebec thread! I had it all pretty w/pics and vids in appropriate places--but it was my first time trying to attach a doc here (thx, 4ms!) and it was too big, so I took out most pics. The link works for me (have to wait a few seconds after you click on it)--but lesson learned! I'll just type as a post in the first place if there is a "next" time!
Okay, RL demands attention again... Just want to say Lulu, your missing-Gelly gifs are GREAT! And, if anyone can link me to Momtomany's BM post, I would really appreciate it, because I'd love to read that when I get home. Thanks!
Re: Sasha--she was definitely my fav dancer--so I voted for her based on that and pleasure of watching her on GNT. Adam fans voting for her sure can't hurt, but I'm sure no one took the trouble to do it without truly appreciating HER talent. I'll bet she knows this. Hope so, anyway. I tweeted "toppy"Adam/Sasha last night that I was voting for her cause she DESERVES it, not because he said to! Is winner announced tonight??

What an awesome recap Hoopla! I love all these stories of road trips and Atop meetups, so much fun. And seeing Adam is the ultimate cherry on top. Thanks for sharing, you have a wonderful way with words!
Happy Birthday to all the ladies celebrating recently!

I was not influenced by Adam's tweet to vote for Sasha -- but I was pleased to see it. I am routing for Sasha to win and I am certain that Adam's tweet did inspire people to vote for her who otherwise might not have voted. That said, I hope that this is the end of Adam being involved in reality TV show voting for a while. First Haley, now Sasha. Time for him to move on to real reality -- whatever that is. Well, unless Terrance decides to go on SYTYCD next year! And if that happens I will be setting up a new forum!!

Hoopla! You crack me up! Great recap! You do have a way with words. Your description of being a pea in the pod, and receiving the nourishment from the gardener, Adam, was so honest and visual!! Took me back; leaves me wanting to grow and be watered again. Didn't post about the 'residual effect' of the poutine. Sat like a stone in my belly. Wasn't even room for beer! Am I the only one who keeps thinking about where I was, two weeks ago today? And, what I experienced, two weeks ago tomorrow? My calendar of life has changed. Do I need to snap out of it??

Just to clarify. I wasn't insinuating that any of us voted for her because of Adam. Just hoping that she wouldn't think that was the only reason that some Glamberts voted. I'm sure she's fine with it. I'm just a nervous nelly sometimes.

Jojo:@illuxxia taped Sauli's report which came out a bit later than they first tried. kiwi6.com/file/fdd54fl0jhSo, everybody else too, if you wanna listen to Sauli talking Finnish LOL, here it is. (it's about 8 mins or so... not sure as I didn't pay attention to the length). The interview was pretty basic, Idol judges, Justin Timberlake, balh blah, but the female DJ slipped in this question in the end: Ellen: So, Sauli, what ever happened with that white wedding dress? S: *silence* S: Well, as it happened, the wedding didn't come through, the wedding dress went to a dress bag-. Ellen: to a vacuum sealed one? S: Yes, it went to vacuum. So it will keep when it's not known when it's needed. And Ellen you can also put your bridesmaid dress to vacuum, as the wedding is off. Ellen: Maybe later then S: Maybe then *awkward laugh* This was obviously meant as a jokey banter, you can hear it in the interview, only that the subject came as a surprise for Sauli. (He should know now that he can't get away without any references to his bf, it seems)

I think that Adam reminded people to vote for Sasha but I really think that the vast majority of even Glamberts who voted for Sasha are Sasha fans and supporters.

I just read Q3's comments on page 1 about the secrecy around Adam#2. I admit, the lack of news has me nervous about the release dates. I hope that it does come out in Nov. I can get a knot in my stomach worrying what will happen if the album isn't as good as we hope. Is the lack of news a sign that it's not good news? I want to trust Adam and his instincts but I am a bit nervous. Sorry for being a downer. I guess today I need to be talked off the ledge.
