Annie looks like David Bowie playing Elvis... or is that one pop star too many in the hen house? Whatever, everything is derivative and has been done before if you look. That said Annie kicks Gaga's ass just about in every way IMHO Annie sang with Bowie - I think in 2006 And I listened to Bowie's "singles" records, kind of like greatest hits and they had 20 on a CD. THAT is what I want to see Adam get comfortable enough to do!!! He has the instincts and the talent...but he is still rooted in musical theatre [sounding like Kara here]. He is so used to following a script that he has a hard time leaving it and really performing in the moment. He lives his 'real' life in a very spontaneous and PRESENT place...but reverts to the comfortable when he gets on stage. We saw glimpses of a relaxation and comfort in Montreal and I really think we will see more and more of that but it will take lots of loving feedback for him to be really comfortable veering from a set list and script. One day we will see him ready to really jump into the unknown and I just want to be there to see it and share it as it will be as epic as this performance was. The funny things is, he needs to feel free to be perfectly less than perfect. |

I think this Peace pendant will make wonderful gifts, especially to those who may need either of the messages, front or back. It seems to reflect both where he is right now and where he hopes he can help others make it to. Would be really interesting if it has anything to do with his album title too.

For everyone who doesn't want the pendant but would like to contribute to the Trevor Project to be a part of this campaign here's the link to donate. There is a an option the write in where you heard about the TP and we could write in Adam Lambrert/ Penny Royal or there's a tribute option but you would need an email address. The fan club email? That's what I was thinking about too (sorry Adam, but while I really appreciate your thinking behind the choice of the symbol and support of Trevor Project, visually I think "it's cheesy buttercup", personal taste, YMMV, and all that.) That's why I threw it out there because I knew someone else like you could think of something that could bring everyone together in a more concrete way and get the ball rolling. I don't have the ingenuity, cheerleading ability or energy to put something like that into practice so I gladly follow whatever you or everyone else decides. My one thought is that Glamberts like a goal. If you created a charity fan page/ fundraising page on a website I'd pick an amount to shoot for. Also a place to leave messages if possible. That was one of the most beautiful things about the Charity Water event and I think it helped spur people on and created little challenges for matching donations. After the Aftermath project didn't do gangbusters, I would love to see this effort gather some momentum for the TP. Maybe the page could give you the option to click on the Penny Royale sight or just make a straight donation? Whatever you do, or don't, do I'll definitely donate. |

Just at MJ's and looking at the new Kelly Clarkson info and her new web site. Preorders for her album, just started. Her album comes out in Oct. So, if Adam is on schedule with his album and we are expecting a mid Nov. release, I would guess that preorders will start in about a month.
I am not making this prediction because Kelly is also an Idol. I am only using Kelly as a guide because she is with RCA.

On 25 February 2011, Dior announced that it had suspended Galliano following his arrest over an alleged anti-Semitic tirade in a Paris bar. The same day, Paris-based citizen journalism site Citizenside received video of Galliano on a similar rant in the same bar the previous December. In the video drunk Galliano hurls anti-semitic rants at a group of Italian women and declares "I love Hitler... People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers would all be fucking gassed." This incident happened just before Paris Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012.
On 1 March 2011, Dior announced that it had begun procedures of dismissal for Galliano, with Dior's chief executive Sidney Toledano stating "I very firmly condemn what was said by John Galliano"...Dior announced it will continue to support the Galliano brand financially due to license despite his previous scandal involving alleged anti-semitism remarks.
It was reported on 2 March that Galliano was to face trial in Paris for "allegedly making racist comments to customers in a café." He had allegedly apologised "unreservedly" for his behavior, while Dior described the comments in the video as "odious". According to the Financial Times, "if found guilty, Galliano could face up to six months in prison and a fine of €22,500 (US$31,187)." The Daily Telegraph reported that it is believed Galliano has now left France and he was reported to be attending a rehabilitation facility, most likely The Meadows in Arizona." A Paris court had ordered he stand trial on charges of "public insults based on the origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity" against three people. The trial commenced on 22 June 2011. |
