Welcome, Paperheart!!! Nice username, too. Reminds me of the Moscow concert with all the scary dangerous Adam fans holding balloons and paper hearts As much as I really like what I see of Sauli, I have to keep reminding myself that I don't really know their relationship and I mustn't get invested in it for its own sake. What I AM totally invested in is Adam's happiness, and it is a thing of beauty and a joy forever to see happiness so clearly written all over his face. This is such an intense time in Adam's life. He's worked so hard and has achieved so much, but he wants so much more and is willing to do what it takes to get it. Right now, the best partner for him would be one who understands his passion for his music and his career, and who will be okay with the crazy schedule ahead of him. And someone who can support him when he needs to step off the ride. It would be lovely if it worked out that Sauli was that person, for Adam's sake. From the outside looking in, the relationship looks balanced and mutually happy-making. Yay for both of them! :D

this comment has finally brought me out of lurkdom. I see all three, Brad, Drake and Sauli, more as an evolution of the same type of man which Adam is attracted too: fun, creative, sensitive, beautiful, and intelligent. Adam has good taste in men. Welcome paperheart! Glad you joined the conversation.

As much as I really like what I see of Sauli, I have to keep reminding myself that I don't really know their relationship and I mustn't get invested in it for its own sake. That's the thing, not only with Adam and Sauli but everyone. Nobody knows the dynamic of any couple. You may have known them for years and interacted with them daily, and you may know each of them quite well. But what happens between any set of long term partners in the privacy of their relationship is IMO unknowable to outsiders. You see couples all the time who don't seem to go together at all- they just don't make sense, but obviously they have something that is not easily apparent to other people. It is theirs alone and concerns only them. As long as Adam appears happy that's really all I need to know- I am not invested in Sauli personally aside from his tie to Adam.

Keyboard, loved your post. I adore Cheeks (Brad)--nothing to do with Adam, other than that's how I was introduced to him. Brad has grown (love Weyume website and very much looking forward to Husbands) and Adam is lucky to have had him for a first love. I'm envious that you actually met him! Paperheart, what a great first post! ITA! Hope you post often in the future! NoAngel, I'm with you (and everyone else) as to the bottom line--whoever makes Adam happy makes me happy, and that included Drake's brief spell as his bf (tank tops and all!). Adam has excellent taste in boyfriends, just as he does in friends. And Sugaree, that email is FUNNY! LOL! Tiny break is over...back to RL. P.S. I checked Pennyroyal site this am, but don't know how to find out how many pendants, etc. have been ordered...anyone know how sales are going since he tweeted last night?

Welcome paperheart!! *waves
....and on a totally off topic note....I just filed my N-400 Naturalization paperwork. Didn't think I'd ever do it....even when our kids became citizens last year.
I am however, looking forward to voting - I've lived in the US for twelve years and can honestly say being "voiceless" is the worst thing about being a non-citizen.
(This does of course depend on being deemed of "good moral character". One of the questions was "Are you a habitual drunkard?" Hahahaa! I actually hesitated on that one!! ;D)

It is theirs alone and concerns only them. As long as Adam appears happy that's really all I need to know- I am not invested in Sauli personally aside from his tie to Adam. My sister was recently divorced from her H S sweetheart after 17 yrs of marriage. It was friendly and civil and they remain friends. Future partners will try to disrupt that friendship at their own peril. There was always a deep love and respect between them, but each needed to move on. Friends say to her, "If you ever need to talk..." and she smiles but wants to ask them, "What could you possibly know about my marriage?" I think it is the same with Adam. We so much want to see him happy and in love and that is where he seems to be. If that changes, I will be upset if fans blame Sauli with no reason. I learned about Brad from Adam's fandom and I became a fan of his from his insightful, very funny videos. He seems like a kind soul, biting when the situation demands, and very sparkly, but smart and creative. Again, none of us know for sure what happened in their relationship and as in real life, we take the side of the one we know or love best. Adam is smart, even in matters of the heart, I think, and will be more than capable of handling his own future with the man of his choice. When I see Sauli with Danielle, it warms my heart because it indicates to me that those who know Adam best feel he has made a wise choice.

When you go to the Pennyroyal site, in their banner with Adam's photo they have info about what is the current amount gathered for the Trevor Project and how much is missing from the USD 75.000 target. ETA: That banner is only updated every midnight but Tim from Pennyroyal has tweeted during the day some updates. The exact amount at a specific moment is hard to tell.
