Quoting myself here, I am really excited about this lyric:

I love this lyric, it blew me away, I thought, how ingenious, awesome, etc, etc, etc.
I think it refers to his Burning Man epiphany, as someone else already said here a few pages back (sorry, don't remember who posted and too lazy to go back).
The song could be about his journey to stardom, and the Burning Man ephiphany was a major turning point for him that made him decide to try out for Idol.
Or, it could be about his yearing to be heard: he knows he has a great voice, but is not getting the jobs/opportunities to fulfill his dreams.
His frustration with not getting a shot as a singer: what does he need to do to make his dream s come true?
The rejection he got from the suits: how it feels to be rejected, not taken seriously, ignored and told "No, No, No".
There are so many possiblities for the meaning of this song. Adam said it was going to be very personal, and he will let us in further into his life, the good and the bad.
Who does that?
I just really love him so much for this, words fail........
It will be worth the wait, and I am glad that Adam is not on a tight time schedule or pushing against a deadline. The last album was so quick, he really didn't even have time to breathe.
Plus, I'm sure he knows that once the song and album drop, he will be making the rounds to promote it, then planning the tour. I hope he gets to take a really nice vacation before this fall kicks in.
But, it is so hard to wait!!!!!

Oh lord....all I can think about is Adam hamming it up for Sauli "I'm gonna do bad things to you!" ...gah! ded! as far as the 2 month wait for the single.....damn! Seoulmate, your reaction and gifs cracked me up! Haha I'll live, but I'm disappointed for sure....and no possibility for a Grammy nom eh? (and while I "get" the lyric - I agree with those who wrinkled their nose a tad....out of context it looks pretty cheesey....sorry Adam.  ) |

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to delurk to say thanks for all the birthday greetings yesterday.
I don't contribute to the threads but, I am here every day celebrating all things ADAM with you all.
