Wow gelly ??? that must have been indescribable WELCOME TO ATOP GURL! So happy to see you here Well, as usual I am way behind on the thread, but have enjoyed all the conversations, points of view, fun, shallow and deep ends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all that have sent NZ and myself prayers and heartfelt wishes. It is very much appreciated in a time of national shock, grief and sadness. The Prime Minister this morning has declared a national state of emergency and not just a regional one. The death toll so far is around 75 with approximately 300 people still missing. The devastation is mind numbing. As I watched the grisly scenes unfolding on TV yesterday, the shell shocked faces, the dust and debris, it reminded me very much of the imagery I saw watching 9/11. I think most of the #NZGlitterTribe and other Adam fans that are active on Twitter or forum boards are all OK, although a couple are very shaken and scared. We have been offered assistance from around the world and 73 Search and Rescue workers turned up this morning from Australia. TY It is kinda strange for us to be accepting help from outside countries for a change as NZ is normally a country that goes to the aid of other countries very willingly - particularly South Pacific nations. What goes round, comes round and I believe we have good karma in this Anyways, back to His Royal Hawtness.... Loved his Twitter rant yesterday. The boy is one skilled communicator - ILHSFM! And I needed to see this again... Cassie your description yesterday of him as a knight standing in the stirrups of his steed looking out over the country side. Very noble and masterful. made me clutch my bosom and swoon *THUD* OK, need to go back to semi-lurkdom and difficult RL stuff. I am trying to finish clearing out, doing up and sell my Mother's house which has been empty for nearly two years as well as negotiate the deal for my new island beach house. I also have to build a road to access it as you can only get to it by boat or a dirt track along the beach. : I never do things by halves!

Monterrific "Crazy for You" performed by Monte Pittman and Allison Iraheta at Molly ... t.co/2mEIv8D so nice to see Allison..she looks and sounds great Thanks for posting that. She really is great. It's been said before, but I love that these musicians have bonded enough to make more music after tour. Monte still has the nail polish. 8-) I think this will be pretty unpopular, but I am not crazy about her singing in this one ???

Hey can anyone answer this for me.....I keep seeing "reminders" on twitter to give the concert DVD trailers of WWFM & Fever "hits" on VEVO. What is the purpose of giving these multiple hits?
I have enjoyed watching these a few times, but it seems people are saying to just keep watching them. Not sure how they even count hits (and never understand when it's been semi-explained) but wouldn't additional "hits" just for the sake of running them up just artificially inflate the demand for the concert DVD, rather than allowing a true picture. I'm confused about why these continual reminders?

of topic but interesting RL has been a bitch recently ,so i have not had the oportunity to be here as often as i would like,k finally managed to register today ,then as i am tech chalenged (and cant spell),it means i have to learn how to post all over again(but thank u q3 ) for the oportunity, now to the reason for my post just been informed i will be working out of glasgow for the first 2 weeks in march(really looking forward to that),so i went off to see what excitement i could find . looked up live nation ,and at the o2 ,the same venue GNT came to ,on the 11 march ,bruno mars is performing (yes i did). i just thought it was very strange this concert was not sold out as bruno has had A LOT of radio play here in the UK JESSIE J is sold out for the 31 march Indeed, very interesting. I hope album #2 is huge in the internationally, we all know Adam live is like "Bees to Honey" Next time bigger venues, and NO SOUND issues since he is such a perfectionist when it comes to his sound. :D

I'm confused about why these continual reminders? A lot of these video streams are monetized now where the artist actually makes money on views. That may or may not refer to unique views but since we don't know it never hurts to give as many hits as possible. Also since Vevo were the ones who paid to film the concert it makes sense to show them it was worth their while to do so.

Loved the discussion about word choices. I agree that Adam MEANS preferences --- this is who I prefer to have as a friend/lover/ companion. Being gay is just a given. "I was born that way" does sound like an excuse or a statement of victimhood.
I was born straight. I don't question it, don't proclaim it, don't use it as an excuse for why I turned down a romantic relationship with a good friend who is a lesbian. I choose who I have a relationship with based on shared values, shared life experiences, shared intellectual pursuits, and shared physical attraction. I do not feel forced into a relationship because of how I was born. I do not feel limited in my relationships by how I was born. Like Adam, my relationships reflect my preferences.
I also agree that when Adam says "lifestyle" he is referring predominantly to things other that gender. I have no doubt if Adam was as straight as an arrow he would still love glam, eyeliner, and the slightly left of center, free spirit lifestyle.
Perhaps he is saying, "I am in control of how I live my life, and I embrace my choices." Good example for us all.
