I found this guy on YouTube by accident and he's probably the first singer since Adam who just grabbed me straight away. He gets compared to Adam which he says is beyond flattering so maybe that's why. Thoughts anyone? youtu.be/OoYH0U8uP6gyoutu.be/1jlyMJS-g-w Just beautiful. I know Adam's plate is full but sometimes I wish he would just put out a single cover every once in while. Would love to hear his take on both of those songs!!!! Well Tradationally up and coming new artists do cover songs on YT. Looking to establish an audience. I don't think Adam has that worry haha. And I am gathering hes not keen about anymore covers. So a Adam song in the Queen set? If it is not a new Adam song. That could b a good way to promote his new music. IF not. Than I would love Sleepwalker or Runnin. Imagine those songs with Queen.

svca, thanks for the Lara Fabian tip. I watched this: and was reminded again of the power of the audience reception to color the singer's performance. She is so moved by their response. I've loved Lara Fabian for years - have this album on CD: itunes.apple.com/us/album/lara-fabian/157497765

I would love to hear what Queen would do with Shady? I would looooove to hear them on „Runnin‘“. Can you imagine, what this could mean for this little bonus-song?

It would be great and most suitable.

Just me thinking aloud because I love Adam doing covers, they invariably end up better than the originals most of the time. I was only thinking an odd one every now and then. With music changing and going more to streaming it would be a way to get new fans interested who would then maybe listen to new music he puts out. Established artists do it occasionally, 30 Seconds To Mars did a live cover of Stay, they even did it on tv shows and it's really good though totally different to the way Adam did it.

Plenty of established artists do covers. Panic! At The Disco covered Bohemian Rhapsody regularly on tour. Disturbed had their Sound of Silence cover hit huge on the charts. Halestorm has released several cover albums. Linkin Park did a stunning cover of Adele’s Rolling In The Deep a few years back. I’m sure in a lot of these cases the covers still helped them find new fans even as established artists. Absolutely no need for it to be considered a “new and upcoming artist” thing.

Coming in way late, but since you brought it up...the LP cover of Rolling In Deep is one of the most stunning versions I have ever heard.

I just assumed that the song will be a new song from Adam's new album. It never occurred to me that it would be an older song of his. I love just about all the covers that Adam has performed. Getting excited to find out what the song is!
