Looks like a few on Twitter think I'm a moron. :D Some of those so enraged are the ones that will be driving by the first chance they get. Seems the videos have them upset, not all the pics. The link to the address was easily found thru the real estate link on the Variety article. IDT the general public is paying attention to my tweets w/o any @adamlambert mention. Just trying to share some info with other Glamberts. Adorable aren’t they? Nothing like the rabid fandom police.

Adam has purchased such a lovely house. So happy that he found a home that he will be happy living in and enjoying. He has worked so very hard so it is nice for him to be able to afford what he wants and likes as a benefit of his labor. Hope he enjoys many years of happiness there.

Interesting info from Susiefierce about the original house. Yes, this happens in a lot of areas where getting permits is difficult to impossible for new construction. It can also effect how the property is treated for taxation purposes. Silly but how it is.

mszue thanks for teaching me me term "conspicious consuption" ...but I don't think it's a new trend...we were once at this farm museum and they had this barn set up as a photo gallery...people in the 1800s were also proudly showing their well groomed children, their ox, the huge fish they just caught...it's just they didn't have the technical possibility to take pictures ans videos at this inflating rate we do now. That's one moment I stepped away from "things used to be better", people used to be "different". I don't claim to have learned a lot from German lessons and reading all that literature, but I know one thing..."human nature" (whatever that is), the heart the soul of man kind hasn't changed as long as we read "the old books" from Shakespeare, Schiller, Göthe (just the ones I'm most familiar with)...throw in the bible too. We still read them, because they "describe" us. svca I'm totally on board with that ranch style mountain view house!

I just dont have the funds to compete...hahaha...so to avoid feelings of cognitive dissonance i must either distance myself from the ‘cc’, or face my limitations...it is always easier to do the former ... sigh

Regarding Adam's new home. I like it, for parties! BUT privacy and security? Not so much. Plus he is hardly ever home! Maybe he will be more in the future. Course it is good to have your money in real estate, but his last place has not worked out too well in that department, at least so far. I imagine we will see some smashing get-togethers in this place! No matter what, it is great to see Adam realizing some of his dreams.
