Hey all you hot-blooded Americans....from the Canadian perspective, those predicted Vegas temps are daunting, to say the least!!! My question to y'all is, as we will likely be spending the bulk of our time in Vegas indoors...thank you very kindly...and I assume the venue's are air-conditioned... ... what ratio of near naked to covered up should we pack for.....is a sweater an outrageous notion or a necessity... Also....any suggestions of things to do other than sleep, 'bert', or gamble in this 'city that never sleeps'...We have all day Friday the 14th and Sat. the 15th to amuse ourselves....yeah!!! I'm taking a sweater/lite jacket. I'm assuming the restaurants and hotel public space will be coldish. When I was there in Sept 2013 for the IHeart festival at the MGM Grand...the temps were like this or worse...lol. You can always take a lite sweater off, but you don't want to be too cold w/o any sleeve. I usually take a coverup to the concert...but rarely, if ever, really need it. Once the show starts all the excitement warms you up. Being outside is another matter. In 2013 my son and I decided to walk over to the Luxor to see Chris Angell. We could see the hotel from the MGM Grand. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. We almost died from heat stroke going over. On the return trek, we managed to walk outside less and go thru a couple of lobbies of other hotels to get back. The outside heat is deceiving. Only thing worse I've ever experienced was in Phoenix for QAL last year. They broke outside temp records while we were there. We took Lyft from the usually walkable hotel to the venue and back and did nothing else. We're thinking about maybe taking a 6 hr day trip to the Hoover Dam. But if it's too hot, we might not. We already have reservations for Michael Jackson One Cirque show on the Thursday nite we're there. We haven't see that one before. Appears that the Park MGM doesn't have but a couple of restaurants operating now. I think Park MGM connects inside to the Aria Hotel where there are many more restaurants. I noticed that there are a few across the street in the outside Park park. That's the area between the T Mobile Ctr and Park MGM. The IHeart Festival will be going on while we are there on the 21st and 22nd...so I imagine it'll be a nightmare eating out, etc those days. I don't gamble at all...so we may be bored somewhat during the daytime hours.

There are swimming pools at the LV hotels, but bring sun screen!

Graciejane, stampsgal or anybody who's studied Adam's new house. Where is the silver looking water flowing feature located at the .26 mark? It immediately goes to the Master Bath views...but I don't see anything in there like this. Only other thing I can think of is a water recirculation apparatus below the zero edge pool...but I don't see anything like that there from photos I've seen.

Thanks cheriemelissa!
I see it now in the 9 minute vid. The narrator says this property was home to one of the most famous parties in Hollywood. I imagine that tradition will continue.
Kinda funny how this house has colors at nite...pink/purple kitchen splash, etc, blue front porch step risers, pool changes colors....like he has in the backyard and pool at his current house. I'm not so much into colored lighting, but I really like the standard normal lighting at nite from the street view and down the sides.

I've been wondering that myself so I'll stay tuned. Sleuthing hasn't turned up much on the house. It was owned by Brad Mirman (writer director - he has a twitter but hasn't been active this year much twitter.com/bradmirman?lang=en) until 2002 selling it to Eva Marie Scheiringer (both a company and maybe a writer). Then in 2014 sold to two LLCs named after two addresses. blockshopper.com/ca/los-angeles-county/los-angeles/property/5555018013/1516-north-kings-road The owner of which was SLIDIC CHAN (no idea but here is something cool) www.whatmeaningof.com/what-does-mean/slidic represented by Jerry Katz (real estate lawyer and cannabis venture capitalist) LinkedIn /[/a] the other residence was occupied by an architect Davidson Donald L Architect www.yelp.com/biz/davidson-donald-l-architect-studio-cityBased on it's remodel construction and how much it's been on sale I doubt anyone has actually lived in it. It was listed as a rental for awhile.

I too think it is part of the water overflow of the zero edge pool turned into a visual feature. I haven’t seen or know of anything else it could be.

Look above cheriemelissa pointed me to the side of the front entrance steps...only on the right hand side at front door. You can see it in the 9 minute vid. From the Variety article..... guess Phillip Sarofim, Avril Lavigne's bf, could afford to take a loss. watchers will note the sale price was not only an eye-catching 18% less than the original $7.888 million asking price and nearly half of a million dollars under the final price tag of almost $7 million but $300,000 short of the amount the seller — a corporate entity tied to Avril Lavigne’s current beau Phillip Sarofim, heir to a billion dollar plus Texas energy fortune — paid for the then brand spanking new house in February 2017

Perfect and some very good eyes! 🤓🤓🤓
