Whenever I am tempted to be influenced by those who are critical of Adam, and as I read all the opinions of so many on the blogs as to how Adam and his managemant SHOULD be running his career ( in the cut-throat music business, of which none of us know what really goes on behind the scenes) I remind myself of the generous and heart-rendering interview he gave to Out magazine, and one of his last poignant comments. To paraphrase: "There's a lot going on, and I'm doing the fucking best I can". I agree with Xenia. The pressure on Adam must be enormous, he is still a new artist, and has accomplished so much in the past 2.5 years it is stunning! Yeah, everyone should chill. Let our boy run his own career. Nuff said.

I read it but I don't understand it. What do you have to do exactly to block someone?

ATTENTION SUSIEFIERCE, RABBITOPIA, and others... OT, but because I wasn't the only one worrying about this earlier, I thought I'd post to the general atopulation... I know there are are lot of twitter users here, in varying stages of anonymity...For those who worry that our embarrassing stan fan accounts are being recommended to people we know in RL based on info gleaned from our email and facebook and other places they spy on collect data on us, I found the solution. Twitter has recently started recommending our accounts to other followers (and recommending we follow others) based on private info, but if you BLOCK the account that provides this service, @twittersuggests, then they won't suggest you follow peeps you know any more and they won't suggest they follow you. Here's a link to the page that explains the creepy-ass innovative service: support.twitter.com/groups/31-twitter-basics/topics/108-finding-following-people/articles/20075772-about-twittersuggestsScroll down to "Not interested. How do I opt out?" for an explanation. Hope this helps some of us maintain our privacy a little longer and sets some minds at ease. Not working for me Stardust, that link didn't work for me when I clicked on it, but when I copied and pasted and dropped into Safari, it worked. Basically, it just tells you to go to @twittersuggests (that's the account name, not the address you get when you see your suggestions – that one is different) and block that user. When you go to a user's homepage there is the green follow button underneath their avi; to the right, there is a little gray box with an envelope and one with the silhouette of a person. Click on that. You will get a few options: Send message, block user, report for spam ... click on Block User

Yes, I agree, Mys*&@^#r. I thought of Daughtry immediately. Thanks! And Smokeyvera, I went back and watched the vid of Justin Timberlake fans. The comatose girl with the doctor..that be me Just so you all know, I am not a drama queen by nature. Something really has to get to me to respond as I have today. You have all been very kind not to judge me. This stanning business really is exhausting!! I don't even want to think what would happen if Adam took a 5-year hiatus. Probably something along those lines THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THERE WILL BE A NEW SINGLE OUT IN ABOUT A MONTH! *everythingcrossed* As far as Adam on twitter, i think it's a bonus for the fans but not an obligation. Adam's style is different tthan Daughtrys and that suits me just fine. I'm just happy he tweets what he does as many celebrites don'thave twitter accounts or a PR person runs it.... i think the buzz building etc is the mngmts job. Jmho

SPOILER ALERT----- Random venting occurring so scroll if easily offended. :D :D :D
So glad I was at work all day so that I wasn't tempted to respond to anyone directly because as much as I love stanning Adam and love all the posters here I'm quite positive I would have pissed someone off.
WARNING__The following actually refers to life in general rather than specifically this day's thread My pet peeve isn't the angsting itself but rather the insanely ridiculous jumping to conclusions Olympics that happen. Fine, I get that everyone has a right to there opinion yada yada but personally I prefer to have my friend actually tell me when I'm being a stupid, ridiculous ass so that I learn from my mistakes. I will however refrain from commenting specifically on anyone's posts because obviously in times like these no amount of logic will make a dent. Is it really too much to expect people actually THINK for a few seconds before leaping? I'm sure most people would agree with the old adage "Look before you leap" so why can't people "think before they leap to some grand outlandish spectacularly insane conclusion"? I try to get it - really - I do but sometimes even when I throw out every single thing that I know about a given subject or situation I STILL can't figure out how some of these conclusions are reached. Asking how doesn't help either because I can't make any sense of the answers either. This is one reason I so often feel disconnected from others and or anxious in social situations because I feel that what is in my head is so totally alien to everyone else.
That being said LOL at the JT fans because they don't nearly win the angsting Olympics. Axl Rose fans waited 14 FUCKING YEARS for Chinese Democracy, the most of them thought it sucked. U2 has been 4-5 years between album since 1993. Yet another thing Bono and Adam have in common. DO NOT LISTEN TO TIME FRAMES from either of them. U2 fans learned long ago to ignore anything Bono says about new music, new albums, etc. Hell we've had an album title for the follow up to U2's last album since about 2 months after the last one dropped in March of 2009 and it was supposed to be out in 2010, now we know they have 3 different albums in varying stages of completion (not counting the Spiderman soundtrack) and we STILL don't have any idea when the next one will come out. LOL, I'm honestly expecting to hear they've started yet another album project now that they've finished their tour.
Also, about the Madonna thing, the report I first read stated that after saying she loathed Hydrangeas she also said "he probably didn't know that", so how that can be construed as her insulting a fan is beyond me. If you are going to dis her for that then are you going to dis Adam for telling an interviewer that he hates when people give him "Take One" to sign? Ok, some people did dis him for that so as long as we are consistent, fine but just sayin'.

vivlite, it could all be done by Adam too. He could tweet updates like Chris Daughtry does. It doesn't have to even be specific things about specific songs, just general things, would be nice. We think Adam tweets a lot, but the tweets that are actually about him are far and few between. I understand how you feel though. Today I am very tired. Hang in there! ETA: Just wondreing if anyone has been over to AO? Is RCA Ed's head ready to explode? From lurking there today it doesn't seem like most posters have really jumped onto commenting about it and/or don't seem to have read enough about the music industry to be worried about January, for example. They are just excited about the single. I don't think they have had the hints and expectations built about a November release that parts of twitter, here, and certain other fan areas have. One or two users withdrew quietly though due to the wait. Well, just between you and me, I am not expecting the album in January.

Why the angst - new single soon YAY new album not too far away double YAY.
From where I sit it is time to get a bit stoic about it all - as in stoic philosophy. My fav Epictetus has great advice (paraphrasing) "you only control your own thoughts and actions" that's it. So if you are upset at the announcement of timing or think Adam and his management are not doing what they should, then that is on you not on him - your thoughts and actions. Love me some Epictetus.

Just wondering what this might be about. Anything to do with the album??? Thoughts??? @milestougeaux Miles Tougeaux It took a month for me to hate 70sDisco, a week to hate 90s Rap, a few days before despising Hip Hop. Dub Step:full revulsion in 60 seconds. 1 hour ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply CRS, but...didn't Adam tweet something a while back about the dub step in someone's song? Was it Britney's?? Maybe he has a dub step in one of the songs on the album?? Rambling here. ETA: Oops; here it is: Wow new Britney is a hot one. Dubstep bridge is nuts!! Amazing production @thedoctorluke @adamlambert 8 months ago
