Well, once they kill all the spiders they will be over run with other pesty bugs. Spiders perform a valuable service IMO- they actually eat more insects than birds do. Silly Sauli. He needs to go to Miami with Adam so he can experience a two pound cockroach- the Palmetto Bugs down there are truly horrendous. Palmetto Bugs (SC is the Palmetto state) is the most ludicrous euphemism ever. They are friggin’ cockroaches - and you do know they can fly, right? The last years in SC, Fort Lauderdale, and Key West have not made me immune to the horrors of bugdom. |

Didn't Taylor dance with a group that was on some other reality tv show. I think it was a one off. Wouldn't surprise me if Brooke did some teaching in NYC. But you are right, being a performer is a tough way to make a living.

This is funny and Uh, hmm, shall we say appropriate. Someone just posted this at MJ's. With the collabs we've recently heard about, perhaps Adam needs a rapper name!  This site will change any name into a rapper name Adam's is...... wait for ti......... FLAVA BONE  rapstarname.com/ETA: LOL! My hubby's is Ol' One! I don't think I'll tell him. Change of subject: Who might have come up with the idea for Adam to work with people like Pharrell and Rico? Now that he’s out of the Idol orbit, does RCA or his mgmt spend as much time nurturing and advising him BEFORE the album is finished ? I can see Adam conjuring up a collab with Sia or BCJean, but this would seem a little far off his radar to me. I’m loving it, just wondered where it came from. The thread yesterday was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who flailed and commented! Aspen: This is a really intriguing thought - Did Adam want to work with Rico or did the opportunity come about recently? I know Adam said he felt honored to work with Pharrel, so maybe that was one that he sought out. But - did Adam seek out Rico? I wonder if the chance to work with him came up late? I remember when Adam had the listening party with his family, and Eber tweeted for Adam to "go with his gut" and not let his detractors sway him (not a direct quote, and too lazy to go and find it), was he referring to Adam having the chance to work with Rico and that it might delay the album coming out? Maybe Adam decided it was a fantastic opportuinity to work with Rico, and went for it. Rico obviously has a whole different set of influences and a lot of sucess in the pop world, and this collab could open a whole lot of new doors and new fans to Adam's music. I think Adam was extremely smart to go for it with Rico, and that the result will be a great song and a great hit on radio, which is the ultimate prize! I am so excited I can barely stand it, and I know next to nothing about Rico other than what has been posted here, never heard of him before yesterday. I also know very little about pop music except for what I have learned at Atop and in listening the last year hoping to hear a single from Adam on the radio. I must request some help from Q and others here that know alot more about the music industry. Still - I am really STOKED about this new song!!!!!!! |

HI friends...
What a couple of horrific days.. MY DH was rushed to the hospital with his aortic valve almost closed, operation revealed that mitril valve and tricuspid valve also needed to be repaired. This is his second major open heart surgery.. I hope he'll be ok next 24/48 hours key.. Could I ask for some good thoughts for my Grandmother? I posted her picture on her 103rd birthday last month. She is not doing well today (she first started feeling bad yesterday). I'm not sure it is right to hope for her to "recover" if she is going to be unwell and uncomfortable, so I am just sending my thoughts out asking for whatever is best for her. If it is her time to go, let it be quick and painless. If she has more in her, then let her recover quickly and be able to enjoy any time she has left with us. Thanks. My 'peace pendant' just came! It really is good looking and has a nice chain. Good job, Adam and PennyRoyal! Watching that tour video of the Miami recording studios, great facility by the way, I keep thinking that it is a little 'surreal'...Adam in a Hip Hop/RB studio! I love how Adam isn't afraid to take chances and try different angles on things. Now I'm anxious to see these collaborations! 8-) |
