Why did this make me immediately think of Adam noticing the little blonde guy, at that club in Helsinki, and not just walking right past him?! PIA, (MyS*&@^#r) you're here! Perfect timing! I just did something for the first time--joined Rate the Music and completed my first two surveys!! I was freakin' AMAZED at how many of the songs I had actually heard on the survey! Looked at the "home page" when I was finished, clicked on "Top40" list of ten top songs in that genre, and realized the first survey included exactly those songs. (The second survey asked you to listen to a new song--One of a Kind by Honor Society. Meh, IMO.) Anyway, rating the top 10 survey expires TODAY, rating that new song expires TOMORROW. Y'all know I am NOT a numbers person, and I listen to radio infrequently. But every time we're with bff's daughter in her car, she has the radio on, so I've talked to her a lot about Sacramento radio stations--we have similar taste in music, and I'm determined to get her to see A live, as she likes him. Anyway, this is one of the few things I can think of to do to really help with radio play in MY area, so I'm glad I did it! Someone said it matters that you establish history with RtM and your local stations, so Imma do it. It really didn't take long. AND NEW MUSIC IS COMING SOON! Even though I personally wish Adam could just say "Screw radio popularity" I realize my attitude's not realistic--he needs to be heard by the masses/by young people. IF he has a hard time on radio, I'll go back to my "screw it" mode. (But how can I expect radio to play more music I like if I don't make my opinion known, right?) Anyway, its done. And I wanted to post the link in case anyone else wants to do it today. (PIA WE NEED YOU--I can't play here often enough to keep people informed about anything, lol!) Here's the link: http:http://www.ratethemusic.com/ Sad note on morning news (among many sad notes), the KC School District lost its accreditation--again. It's been a total mess ever since I first taught there in the 80's. And MELLIEMOM AND PJD--truly hoping for the best for your loved ones. Stay strong. ...sorry so long, but that's probably it for me for the day... ETA: Don't know wy the link is not active?? Tried to fix, but it won't turn "blue"...oh, well, it's an easy one to c/p...

Wow, Demi Lovato's album went right up to #1 on i-Tunes! Didn't realize she had such a large fanbase. Ha! Again the boy is not dumb. While somedays (yay for yesterday) we wish for more twitter activity, he knows what he is doing with it. Love him & that clever mind of his!!!! Wasn't GNAFL (and any other letters you want to add ;D) the first one on his feet to give her a standing ovation at a recent event? Demi was also on Ellen the other day - she had an extensive interview and sang - that no doubt gave her a bump. She's only 19.

Mine tends toward the Playboy bunny / stripper, also. KENDRA VIXXEN. The site must be run by a male rapper who likes his women hot but non-fierce. Boo!

I am sure he is aware of the trials and tribulations Demi just went through and is showing his support. Loved her interview on Ellen.

THere is a HUGE difference between snakes and spiders! For me, it has to do with the number of legs. I have no problem with snakes and 2 and 4 legs don't bother me, but as soon as we get to 6 legs I start getting unhappy. I don't deal with spiders at all and have even been known to scream and run from the room when I encounter one! You really don't want to be around if I see a centipede My husband and I have an agreement - I deal with stuff like snakes (we're in the midwest, so very few poisonous ones - just the occasional gartersnake in the garden.) and he deals with all insects & arachnids. But you can squish a spider while a snake can chase you and crawl up your back and wrap around your neck and drag you into the Everglades where BIG spiders like scorpions will crawl all over you... Yeah,if I had to choose, it would be (itsy bitsy) spiders.

HI friends... What a couple of horrific days.. MY DH was rushed to the hospital with his aortic valve almost closed, operation revealed that mitril valve and tricuspid valve also needed to be repaired. This is his second major open heart surgery.. I hope he'll be ok next 24/48 hours key.. Could I ask for some good thoughts for my Grandmother? I posted her picture on her 103rd birthday last month. She is not doing well today (she first started feeling bad yesterday). I'm not sure it is right to hope for her to "recover" if she is going to be unwell and uncomfortable, so I am just sending my thoughts out asking for whatever is best for her. If it is her time to go, let it be quick and painless. If she has more in her, then let her recover quickly and be able to enjoy any time she has left with us. Thanks. Sending love and light your way. Me too, hope and pray that healing will come quickly.

I joined HitPredictor last year when Adam's music was coming out. Haven't paid much attention to it, looks like now would be a good time to get back involved with it. Does anyone else participate there? It's hard for me, cause I don't get any radio stations here in BFE, closest one is about 165 miles away! But I do what I can...... www.hitpredictor.com/

Adam is recording in the lap of luxury - chef, pool, beautiful deck, tiki hut built by the Miccosukees, Cuban guy talking like the brothers, pictures of his peers like Beyonce and Usher on the walls. A whole new world of experiences and you know he will suck it up like a sponge. I am beyond thrilled for him. I think the studio Adam was in is at 11:48 of this video.
the305.com/2009/05/02/you-need-to-watch-this-take-a-tour-of-circle-house-studios/What a fun facility! I want a personal chef!!! 8-) Yeah, the background windows look the same, amazing observation there, mys*&@^#r!! And good find, gelly!!
