I must be out of the loop. What film has he been in? Oh, oh! I can answer this! Alpha Dog. A movie about drug dealers and he was actually pretty good in it. Wow, I'm just so impressed with myself that I can answer a question. Burrito out, or in, if that suits your fancy. ETA: Damnit. Lindag5223434324 beat me to it with a much better answer. Damn those Texans. (I'm an Okie. It's not often I get there first so I will bask in the afterglow for a while. Burrito, my DH went to OU and I went to UT so you can imagine what THAT weekend was like every year. Good thing that neither of us were diehard fans, although just to get a rise out of him I would sing the Boomer Sooner song while changing our sons but replace the words with poopy dooper. I am just obnoxious like that. LOL.

Woo hoo for me, this is my 61st post and follows a Texan (Wal) who has 4,910. Those Texans do it bigger and better than we lowly Okies. LOL! But Oklahoma's on top of Texas, so there. (shoot, I'm in quick reply so can't find a tongue smiley when I need it. Wait, let me see -) ETA: Too slow and another Texan inserted herself. Ooooooooooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains.... And to try like heck to keep this on topic, imagine Adam in the Oklahoma musical. Sorry, I just can't.

YA YA YA....words are cheap.....bring us the videos!!! Okay then, how about stress release ;D Don't know how to bring the vids - but, this pic is totally my cats - came home to this everyday until I bought the holder that partially covers the top of the roll - they would sit on the toilet seat and "spin & shred" :-/

LambertUK Adam Lambert UK Adam Lambert in UK airplay shocker - Flecking Records - www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/2011/09/adam-lambert-in-uk-airplay-shocker.html14 minutes ago Posted 22nd September, 2011 "If there’s one thing we are constantly hearing from Adam Lambert’s UK fanbase, it’s what little airplay her receives over here. Imagine how delighted we were tonight, when @andymartindale fulfilled our request and treated us to Adam’s hit track Whatya Want From Me during his Late Night Love radio show. It’s true that Adam is deeply under appreciated in the UK, so it’s nice to see him getting airplay in the build up to the release of his second album." ETA: Adding quotation marks.

1) Idol bias 2) Not enough radio play for 2nd single. No third single (not counting FYE as the first) 3) Gay bias But add in the international sales and he did great. Maybe Evan doesn't know that. Here's my opinion on why it didn't do better. 1) AMA bias 2) Cover bias 3) Not enough radio play for either of his two singles brought about by 1 and 2. I really, truly believe the AMA's cost him a ton in sales and radio play. It was a huge miss IMO and if he'd presented himself like he did on Idol the masses would have taken to him just like we did. Being gay wouldn't have mattered if he'd charmed his way into the masses' hearts but he didn't right out of the gate. His first impression to a non-Idol audience (the AMAs) was not at all charming. I know he's learned from that. I know that performance was not representative of who he is. But the masses didn't know that and he's had to work to change that initial impression. And work he has and the more he works the more people forget. I believe his talent and inherent charm will win out in the end. I just need him to get one spectacular major music award performance under his belt to completely convince me he's arrive and accepted. (I doused myself in hot sauce before typing this post in an effort to sound....spicy? LOL! I mean coherent.) The hot sauce worked, you sound coherent. Another opportunity, X-Factor, award show etc. would be awesome! I do feel bad he may have been judged by ONE performance, Adam is more than that one performance. There have been times in my life that I wish I could have said or done something differently, fortunately for me it was not on national TV. ;D

Duh, I'm scratching my dumb blonde Okie head with my left hand. Took me a whole minute (60 full seconds) to figure out how a Texan could be posting about hearing Adam on a UK radio show. Duh. LOL! It did take me a minute to process that. And I love wal too. and floors and ceilings.

Burrito, I totally have a Pavlovian response to the "AMA POV" in your post... so, sorry for not being able to stop myself in writing the same words for the millionth time: The AMA performance made Adam into an international, world wide star. Without it - the international success would not have been the same. Loosing some of the USA sales was more than worth it. The people he lost would've gotten "disappointed" in him sooner or later anyway. Re Hollywood Reporter: I get the "unauthorized" message also... OMG - I come home from work and what do I see???? MY CHARITY WATER AUTOGRAPHED PICTURE!! I had given up a long time ago, and didn't even write them to check. So excited! Oh, and need I mention that he's gorgeous? lisapf Congratulations! You gave me hope.
