Every time Adam has talked about Broken Open, he's said that for a period before he wrote it, he'd had several people break open with him and he wasn't sure why? My thought is that what we just witnessed in the last hour was a "mass broken open". Obviously he has some affect on others, and they feel comfortable opening up to him. Interesting thing to watch; pretty cool tbh.

I wonder if it is all wrapped up in the events of yesterday. Making the point of how we are all the same really. I've never seen his @ replies fly like that. People were amazing sharing themselves. I know, right!? My feeling is that these tweets are kind of where he's going theme-wise. We've had lots of hints-- #Realness, etc. I think he IS going to be very honest emotionally this era, and try to encourage others to do so as well. "Tears all fall the same. We all feel the pain." Finding common ground in what makes us all human. On the other hand, if the dj guy who blabbed on Twitter last night is correct, the single he was working on was dance-y. So I'm really very curious and intrigued to see what comes out as the first single. |

I have a question for you guys, and I know I will probably get blasted. That picture of Jonte and Adam is of course, gorgeous, but I wonder how Adam would feel if he saw Sauli penising it up with another guy and posing crotch to crotch with someone? Is that necessary to get a beautiful picture of two men?

WOW! That was an incredible twitter explosion! I couldn't keep up with all the replies. Wow, the reaction to Adam's tweets was one of the most amazing things I've seen. First Adam tweeted the photo, and people were flailing and UNFing and ~commenting on the hair. Then he tweeted the question about our insecurities, and there was a bit of a pause, and then his @ replies absolutely exploded. I swear they were going by so fast on Tweetdeck it was impossible to read. All you could do was catch a word or phrase here and there: fat, alone, scared, being judged, feeling dumb... etc etc etc. An outpouring of vulnerability and pain. And then he tweeted about people all having the same hangups, and after a little while a lot of the tweets shifted to people thanking him and expressing love. And I saw lots of tweets where people were giving each other "hugs" and support and love as they read other people's confessions. Now after his last tweet it's an outpouring of love towards Adam. (And lots of tweets from people who say they have the same issues.) I feel like I witnessed some kind of living-art/therapy session/flashmob/social experiment. Very, very cool. Adam has a lot of power-- I kind of feel like we're only seeing the very beginnings of what he is capable of.    WOW, just WOW for the fandom's response to Adam & amongst ourselves! A beautiful thing for sure!     |

I follow Adam on twitter but I don't get his tweets and I can't see all this twitter explosion you guys are seeing. I must be doing something wrong. :-/
