Adam has been acting so grown up lately regarding his relationship with Sauli, and expressing the fact that he was in love. Is this what we do when we are in love now? Maybe young people do these things and it is all right today. I don't know. I'm not a prude either. I love gay porn (not that the picture was porn) just want you to know I am not a prude. I just feel wrong and funny and scared about that picture. God, I don't want to sound judgemental either. I have never been to a gay bar. Maybe that is what they do there and everything is okay. Just curious what others think I guess. Don't get too mad at me. I am just an old lady, not very hip anymore. Wow, this must really bug you since you had to make four separate posts on it. Nothing wrong with feeling uncomfortable about it, though. But I'll say... It's you. It din't even come to anyone else's mind that there would be something inappropriate in the pic, relationship-wise. And it's not a "gay bar thing". Adam poses with a friend, period. So what that they chose a bit provocative pose, it's posing! When you pose you show off! Adam being in a committed relationship doesn't mean that he can't present himself provocatively or touch other people. I honestly believe that Sauli doesn't mind, and that Adam doesn't mind if Sauli would on a crowded table crawl on friend's lap to sit or something. |

This is confusing. Yesterday when Adam was defending them, he said that he knew her and he talked to her and got the real story and that she had played on his tour for a year - not exact words, but close. So it wasn't Cam? So then what was the personal Adam connection? ??? Not sure if this was cleared up further down in posts, as I was directed to this page for something else I was looking for and haven't read through the rest yet, but they are a couple, not just a musical duo. Her girlfriend was just more vocal about protesting against SWA and what happened. What was misquoted was where they were flying from Baltimore to St. Louis, when actually it was from El Paso TX to LA. So...Adam probably did get the full story from Cam and what he replied in defense of his involvement of this matter. You can see some of the teasing banter on Neil's twitter toward Cam... she was involved in this drama. If they are a couple that is relatively new because Leisha had been dating someone named Nina for about 5 years and most people are confused because there didn't seem to be any awareness of that relationship being over. At this point I don't know anymore but here's the thing, Cam and Leisha are very close, and if the kiss was indeed just a peck on the lips and as stated in the release "a show of affection" maybe the real irony is that Cam and Leisha shared a peck on the lips between friends and they really aren't a couple? You know kissing conventions vary throughout the world, in Europe men kiss each other on the lips in greeting. How ironic would it be if whoever Leisha shared this peck on the lips with was simply a very close friend and NOT her sexual partner. Wouldn't THAT make the story interesting as hell. Oh well, I guess we'll eventually get it straight but for now I'm inclined on holding off on the assumption that Cam and Leisha are a couple until there is more accurate info. Doesn't really matter in any case as the incident is still outrageous no matter what. |

Wow, the reaction to Adam's tweets was one of the most amazing things I've seen. First Adam tweeted the photo, and people were flailing and UNFing and ~commenting on the hair. Then he tweeted the question about our insecurities, and there was a bit of a pause, and then his @ replies absolutely exploded. I swear they were going by so fast on Tweetdeck it was impossible to read. All you could do was catch a word or phrase here and there: fat, alone, scared, being judged, feeling dumb... etc etc etc. An outpouring of vulnerability and pain. And then he tweeted about people all having the same hangups, and after a little while a lot of the tweets shifted to people thanking him and expressing love. And I saw lots of tweets where people were giving each other "hugs" and support and love as they read other people's confessions. Now after his last tweet it's an outpouring of love towards Adam. (And lots of tweets from people who say they have the same issues.) I feel like I witnessed some kind of living-art/therapy session/flashmob/social experiment. Very, very cool. Adam has a lot of power-- I kind of feel like we're only seeing the very beginnings of what he is capable of. Aww...really wish I had been around for this. Can you picture any other pop star creating something like this so organically? Mangokat, Loved your idea of this event as a "mass broken open" |

I absolutely LOVE that pic! Soooo much hotttness I can't even...
He's been rocking the more natural look lately and while I think it's awesome, especially since he's all radiantly glowy dewy-eyed in love, there will always be a special place in my heart for CrazyClubKidAdam. So I find that picture oddly reassuring for some reason.
He's been living in LA a long time and I imagine in the circles he runs in that level of physical contact barely merits a flickering eyelash. JMO of course and I freely admit to knowing crap-all about crap.
All I do know is that I really really really want to see a full length pic of the entire outfit.

So, have Leisha and her partner split up, and now she is with Cam? Or were Cam and Leisha just giving each other an affectionate friends, kiss? I am still confused! I was assuming that it was Leisha and her girlfriend, until Cam and Leisha issued their statement. Now it seems like it was Leisha and Cam. No doubt that it was Leisha and Cam who kissed, but no clarity about if Leisha broke up with her girlfriend or not. |

IC Cookie is wondering the same thing Well, I'm behind, only on p.24...but I just got back online awhile ago, saw HK's interview, then Adam's tweets, and I immediately saw a connection. I thought Adam looked very uncomfortable with that opening salvo about his makeup. I think that was what led to his reflection about his insecurities--maybe one of his biggest ones--his scarred skin. It was a touching twitter night. I just tweeted you that I thought your twitlonger was beautiful. However, I don't think the Heidi clip had anything to do with his mini twitter party. Remember, that video was shot in July. I think he might be actually thinking about a procedure for the scars and this is his way of gently leading up to the news. Just a feeling, my opinion, absolutely nothing to base it on. Maybe he even wants media to pick up that tweet, so they won't write "hater" articles about a cosmetic procedure. His tweets usually mean something. They are rarely random. |
