The other thing that is confusing about this whole Cam and Leisha thing is that in the Autostraddle post this statement was made:
"This was funny timing, firstly because our Entertainment Editor Jess was interviewing Camilla Grey as this whole thing went down and secondly because my girlfriend and I flew Southwest last weekend to Shedonism in Las Vegas. I think most of our flight attendants were gay, sidenote."
Now thinking about the fact that Leisha said they had audio and video of much of what happened is it possible that they were doing a Skype interview? But that doesn't make sense either because they'd just boarded the flight and it doesn't seem feasible that they would be doing an interview then. So confusing. Maybe since the press seemed to be assuming that it was Cam they are running with that to keep Nina out of it?? Who knows anymore but it is definitely confusing as hell.

IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S SHAVED BOTH SIDES! @adamlambert @hellojonte and I last night at Mustache Mondays! Fishy. say.ly/lTWLJ7Someone was asking for the name of this new hairdo. With Adam's latest description of a shaman on trip to the moon (or something to that effect?) I thought a Native American sounding name like Crazy Horse, Black Elk Speaks ect...might be approriate. Flies to Moon Adam??? Dances with Moon Adam??? He's looking pretty rad whatever you call it. And Jonte certainly looks like he just stepped off some spaceship himself. But what the hell is the face situation with the guy on the left? Is he wearing a mask? I love stanning this guy. ;D ETA: Am I too old to say rad?

Well, I'm behind, only on p.24...but I just got back online awhile ago, saw HK's interview, then Adam's tweets, and I immediately saw a connection. I thought Adam looked very uncomfortable with that opening salvo about his makeup. I think that was what led to his reflection about his insecurities--maybe one of his biggest ones--his scarred skin. Here is the twitlonger I tweeted about it: tl.gd/dbbca2Sorry if someone has already commented on this...or am I the only one who made this (possible) connection? NoAngel and Lynne were right. It was a touching twitter night. I just tweeted you that I thought your twitlonger was beautiful. However, I don't think the Heidi clip had anything to do with his mini twitter party. Remember, that video was shot in July. I think he might be actually thinking about a procedure for the scars and this is his way of gently leading up to the news. Just a feeling, my opinion, absolutely nothing to base it on. Yes, the interview was quite awhile ago, but I could just picture him seeing it in his twitter feed tonight and reliving the uncomfortable feeling of having to address questions about makeup--btw, from a woman I've never seen WITHOUT makeup, lol! (not that I think Heidi meant anything by her questions--but I didn't like her Pinnochio gesture, like Adam was lying when he said he thought SHE had more on...) Who knows? But thanks, MyS*&@^#r, for reading the twitlonger--and I, too, think he may be considering some sort of skin treatment--it really seems to bother him. More than ever, I'm seeing that it's really not as easy as Adam makes it appear to be brave/confident, if you know what I mean.

Curious about what prompted him to ask the question .. wonder if something happened... :-/ ETA.. IC Cookie is wondering the same thing Well, I'm behind, only on p.24...but I just got back online awhile ago, saw HK's interview, then Adam's tweets, and I immediately saw a connection. It was a touching twitter night. I kind of agree. To me, Heidi had a bit of a cool, aloof, snooty, snotty vibe. Which is probably just her, I don't know her other than what I've seen this season on the show. The comments on his makeup both on the vid and on twitter, and then making the Pinocchio gesture, idk, it just annoyed me and made me squirm a bit. But Adam was adorable and seemed fine. And nothing could ever top Nina's berting over him, so it's all good!

Way, way back in the thread I said that the Daily Beast said Leisha Hailey's girlfriend of five years was Nina Garduno. When one goes to google the couple lines of the hit says
Daily Beast - 1 day ago ... she and her girlfriend of five years, Free City clothing designer Nina Garduno, were told that Southwest is “a 'family' airline and kissing was not OK. ...
But when one reads the article it says Leisha Hailey—an actress from The L Word and member of the band Uh Huh Her—tweeted on Monday that she and her girlfriend and bandmate, Camila Grey, were told that Southwest is “a 'family' airline and kissing was not OK.”
So, a little unclear...

In the above photo, I just see some guys in a club vamping it up -- BTW, Adam is a theater and music person, and we are a touchy, huggy bunch for the most part. I don't think posing for a photo in this club is any big deal, and I didn't even think anything of it until someone else brought it up. This is just a fun pose (I've done stuff like this with my friends, too). Fierce!
Isn't it interesting how we all come from such diverse backgrounds with a variety of opinions -- all with Adam in the center!
I think if Adam was reacting to anything in his twitter tonight, I would imagine it was the video with Heidi Klum. I know a number of really beautiful people (like Adam) who don't see themselves that way at all. He probably still looks at himself in the mirror and thinks "bad skin" way before "hey, I'm hot". I think being with Sauli has given him a new sense of peace about himself--love is the best medicine!

Honestly, I don't want to imply that anyone isn't entitled to their feelings, because of course they are. But I think it's worth considering that we actually know very very little about Adam's private life/thoughts/feelings. Yet we have tons of little details of knowledge and bits of information. Between those two things, there's lots of room to insert one's own thoughts/feelings/insecurities/hopes/motivations into Adam's life. The parts of Adam I love most are the parts I want most to be like myself. The parts of Adam that I like less are parts of me I dislike. How much of what I think I know is Adam, and how much is just what I've projected? I don't know. I keep reminding myself that he is his own person and can/will always do his own thing. As much as I love to see him happy with Sauli and I wish them both all the best, if it doesn't work out, that is ok and not the end of the world. For him or for me. When it comes down to it, all I really want is for Adam to be happy, whatever that looks like. I love this post. You have such good insight, NoAngel, and always write it so eloquently.

When I first saw that twitter pic asking who has more make up, it almost had me wondering if she was mocking him..., although im sure that wasnt her intention.. Same with the pinnochio gesture and asking if he always wears makeup.. It made me feel especially uncomfortable because Adam had mentioned in a few interviews that part of the reason he wears make up is because of his skin..

Hoopla and NoAngel, I watch Project Runway every season. It is my 2nd favorite reality show, after Idol. Heidi is sarcastic and "playful" all the time. Knowing her personality, I found the Pinocchio nose funny. Also, remember, English is her second language. If you want to see Heidi without make-up, she is in the exact same People's Most Beautiful People issue that Adam was in. Coincidence , huh?! And she was photographed without make-up. It's a short write up, but she says she never wears it when she is not performing. She looks very, very young without the make up.
