Good morning. When I read Sauli's new blog about their adventures at Universal Studios, I couldn't stop laughing at the visuals I was imagining of them screaming and sweating (lol) through some of the attractions!! There is our always 'articulate and calm' Adam loosing his cool and screaming his lungs out! So adorkable!!  I don't think Adam was there. I thought it was Sauli and his friend from Finland while A was in Miami. (That was my take, anyway ...) Next time, though?  I'm sure we would have got surreptitious tweets and pics if Adam had been there. |

Someone mentioned the other day about whether he would have come out if not pushed into a corner about it. I think he would have, especially knowing it wasn’t a secret in LA and at any minute the facts of his life for the previous 8 years could be front page news. What an awful way to live your life, especially for someone like Adam. I was the one who wrote that or something like that, but you completely mis-understood my text and I re-read and am not sure how that happened. I said, he clearly had made the decision to be out as a famous person well before he ever became famous, but the question is HOW he would have gone about telling the world, if the media world had not broken the news for him during idol. Quote from yesterday page 9: ...... Clearly he had thought about it beforehand. He had thought about celebrity status (pop goes the camera) and had decided that he wanted to live as an OUT celebrity should he every achieve any fame long before that actually happened. He then proudly wrote that he was gay on his idol application. There was no intent to hide, just an intent to make this about music and the arts rather than about everything else. ..... That was during idol. I then continued with the time after idol when the "purely a music competition" aspect was not there anymore and my suggestion was that it could have gone differently, if Adam would have had a choice in the matter. 4Msrmyn... THANK YOU for the Newark vids!!! That particular Bowie Medley was one of my all-time FAVORITES!!!! Wasn't Leila in the audience that night? I don't really remember whether Leila was at that concert right now, but I think she has family in NJ and was at many (all?) of Adam's concerts in Jersey & NY. Also, I like your ad better than mine. ;D Leila and Neil were both at the Newark 2 concert. Leila had a large group of her NJ friends with her, too. Many fans went up to her and she graciously spoke with all of them and took pictures with them. Neil disappeared and then came back once the show started. Thanks 4Msrmyn for posting the videos from that concert. Brings back great memories. My camera crapped out the second Adam came on stage!!! Just as well, I had a row of giants standing in front of me and I had to bob and weave to see between them to see the stage. Everyone's Krol ads are terrific. How do you guys think this stuff up? LOL I'm loving the drum beat in those d&b videos. I can definitely imagine Adam singing over it. |
