Q3, do you know anything about how DMG operates? Is it some Super Exclusive agency shrouded in mystery? I have to wonder why they haven't bothered to add Adam to their POS website or haven't ever sent out a press release regarding his signing OR haven't bothered to mention him hitting $1 million for charity or being on "Majors & Minors" or anything, really.
His IMDbPro listing still hasn't been changed from 19; it's been almost two months since the Hollywood Reporter broke the story and Ed confirmed. Everything seems totally up in the air with Ed MIA from AO and no one saying anything.
At first, I figured (hoped) this was all part of the behind-the-scenes moves, but as more time goes by, the more I have to wonder.

I too was thoroughly entertained by the discussion of the troll tweets yesterday. It was kind of like fan fic - it wasn't true, but it gave me a bit of a thrill anyway just thinking about it And yes, you can share all your O Music Awards votes on twitter and as long as you're copying & pasting the message, I believe only the first will actually get tweeted, probably because twitter doesn't allow you to repeat identical tweets. I've been posting and sharing on both facebook and twitter at the same time to maximize my points for each vote (the higher the points you get, the higher your vote limit is each day). I noticed that even if I change the message during the process, still only my first tweet and first status update of the day get posted, so very little spam is happening.
In the rules it explains how to maximize your points (this is what all the "superfans" listed seem to be doing. They are heavily Tokio Hotel at this point, but it's possible to catch up with more adam voters, or people with two user accounts like NoAngel mentioned). __________________________ When an eligible fan votes for any nominee as described above in Section 1, each vote will be assigned the number of points indicated below: ACTION POINTS EARNED Vote and share your vote on Facebook__________10 points earned Vote and share your vote on Twitter_____________5 points earned Vote (without sharing your vote)________________3 points earned If an eligible fan shares their vote on both Facebook and Twitter, such fan will be awarded________________18 pointsBased on the number of Points earned, the eligible fan will be permitted to vote between a maximum of 25 and 500 times per day as follows: POINTS EARNED LEVEL TOTAL DAILY VOTES ALLOWED 0 - 249__________1__________25 250 - 999________2__________50 1,000 – 2,999_____3__________100 3,000 – 9,999_____4__________200 10,000 + ________5__________500 ____________________________________ You can get to level 5 in 3 days if you maximize your points when you vote. Anyone else there yet? I seem to be getting limited to 25 per day again instead of the 500 votes it promises For some reason, today, I went there for the first time and it would only let me vote once for twitter, and once for facebook. Then it informed me that I had used up todays voting 'allowance'. Why would that be? eta...I wonder if one or more fan groups seems to have found a way to get around the limits and they are experimenting with filters. Was def'n different today from yesterday.

Re the 'trolls' ...which seems to be a name for peeps that don't agree with whichever peeps are doing the naming, tbh....I just do not understand the reasoning between the lies and nastiness that seems to permeate twitter, particularly.
Is it that we just cannot handle anonymity responsibly? does it relate to the 140 character limit? very curious...

Is it that we just cannot handle anonymity responsibly? I'd give this one a resounding YES. It's been glaringly apparent since the first post to the first message board that ever existed.

Just posting and running, but I hope that no one feels like they have to research something before posting here. Things move lightning-fast in the fandom, and I think we all have a healthy sense of perspective and withhold full-fledged squeeeing until things look relatively certain. Why should the Twitter ninjas be the only ones who work things out? We have fantastic ninjas here also, who can recognize pics, or identify potential collaborators, etc. Lots of people here are not on Twitter, so they shouldn't be left out of the fun and speculation. Still, a good rule of thumb-- if something looks questionable at all, just post it with a comment like "Not sure if this is true," or "Needs verification," and the ninjas can take it from there. I've RT'd and posted stuff that turned out to be false, and it did make me feel silly for a sec, but honestly, it's no big deal. The only person who should feel bad about the shopping tweets yesterday is the person who trolled. And for her, well, karma...

I love reading the tweets and I so appreciate those who bring them over. Please don't stop. So what if there are 3 or 4 in a row. My thought is, just use a grain of salt when reading them and then have fun with them. We will learn soon enough if they are true or the work of trolls. 8-)
