Sorry, I stand by my previous contention. That's like me saying, "I have this huge project to put out, so I can't be bothered with proofreading the collateral materials." Yeah, you can and that's the kind of thing that becomes the banana peel that can bring a huge effort down – a lack of attention to detail. The biggest, glossiest, most expensive magazine in the world will lose credibility if it has a single typo in the copy. The greatest movie evah risks becoming a laughingstock if it had one jump-cut in the editing or a glaring continuity error. I am sure you are right that it's a matter of prioritizing at the moment, but they cannot just shunt things like Adam's websites aside with no mention of them. Take them offline and put up an "Under Construction" landing page or have Adam tweet, "We're working on these things, they'll be ramped up in no time!!!" Even if they're NOT working on them, it still addresses the issue and buys time. And sorry, not returning calls of established colleagues who are only working on his behalf is just bad business; I don't care how you couch it. Ok question...if DMG may/may not be incompetant...I dunno much abt them either way....how was Katy's last era such a huge success? gurl was everywhere! I just....am confused...lol...per usual... This is true, chunkey. And a Katy type rollout would be wonderful. But when they haven't even put Adam on their website, or even released a statement about him being a client..... it just makes me wonder. But Adam swicthed management for a reason, soooo... hopefully all will soon become apparent!

I couldn't see him choosing to go with a management company that is soooooo incompetant...ikd he seems like s amrt and savvy business man so I would assume he did his research before leaving 19 for them....we have to remember there are things going on we have no idea about...hopefully there is a good reason why things don't seem...idk...up to snuff....idk man idk.

I just can't see Adam letting DMG mess up the album rollout. Adam is an excellent communicator and I'm certain DMG knows exactly what he wants. PJD, I think you are right about other things being put on the back burner for now. I think that's why the charity:water pic thing hasn't been wrapped up yet, it isn't a priority. Since I'm one of many still waiting I just hope they don't forget about it. Sorry, I stand by my previous contention. Susie, what I'm trying to say, and badly, is that I think that album rollout will be fine because that's what is important to Adam right now. Frankly, I don't think the rest is important to him or it would be taken care of. TBH, I blame Adam more than I do his new management. They answer to him, not us, and if he wanted it done it would be done. ETA, I just think Adam is totally consumed with the album right now and given the importance of it that's understandable.

I don't think they're incompetent. Katy's rollout was incredible!! But since I don't follow her closely, I don't know how much of the "little things" either slid or maybe they were attended to by someone else – her label or perhaps she already had her own daily management?? I don't know. Like I said, I DO believe they're likely working on the Big Picture, but IMO, you cannot neglect the small details in the process. Get him someone to attend to that stuff and they can be free to do their wheeling and dealing.

Lest you think I’m not thrilled and happy for Adam let me quote Craazyforadam first: BUUUUZZZZZZ! THIS ALBUM WILL BE GREAT - and TOP 40 RELEVANT. BUZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But sometimes, egoistically, I feel we are going to lose some of our trailblazing uniqueness and sense of purpose when everybody jumps on the bandwagon… hence this message: When the new album comes out and it’s such a cosmic success that all our flailing and hoping and loving and supporting will recede into a tiny speck that can hardly be discerned across the deep intergalactic distance, we must be brave my friends, and take courage from the fact that even though now we are no longer the torchbearers of the awfulness of our beloved, still we were there from the start, we were there when it counted !! Did you by chance mean "awesomeness" instead of "awfulness", hmmm?

At one time I was midly concerned about RCA. I never thought they were screwing Adam over, I'm not in that camp. I was just concerned about the reorganiztion and how it would effect all their artists. But watching the rollouts of Kelly and Daughtry make me think they've got it all together. And, until last night, I was saying SusieFierce's reassurances in my head over and over, "We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. DMG may be planning a ton of promo and we just haven't seen it yet." But after the message from ALF site, I am concerned about DMG. If the fanclub can't get a contact person. And Tim, who has worked with Adam in the past, has not found a contact person there?? Well... ya, DMG is the big question mark in my mind too. :-/ Funny how we all interpret things differently. This doesn't concern me at all.... not even on the radar or the Penny Royal dude. I used to work in the technology industry, where changed, reorganization and taking on new clients was a continuous reality. As you can surmise, a change over doesn't happen overnight. In my mind they have prioritized their efforts. Plus you probably have the added bonus of Adam doing some rebranding - a new look and feel. The fan site, the RCA site and Penny Royal are at the bottom of the pyramid. ETA: Oh, what pjd said. LOL

Did you by chance mean "awesomeness" instead of "awfulness", hmmm? Dictionary reference: solemnly impressive; inspiring awe: the awful majesty of alpine peaks Adam Fucking Lambert .

ITA that Adam has more than a LOT on his mind right now. That is the the exact reason why celebrities have personal management – to handle these small details so they don't have to. If he truly is not considering it "important" right now, that's a very unprofessional miscalculation – whether it's on his end or DMG's. Adam has always seemed to have an inherent instinct for his branding and for him to let these things slide at such a crucial time can severely undermine his brand. The devil is in the details.
