Tigerlily - what does any of that have to do with Citizen Vein? And yes, Monte has many other projects, none other which have to do with Adam. Adam wasn't anything more than a chorus boy when Monte asked him to sing with him. Monte was giving Adam a break at that time, not the other way around.
Lulu - Monte has said in interviews that he and Adam were collaborating together for Adam #2 and that he [Monte] was excited about it. As for the Lisa twitter stuff, I saw a copy of it recently and I was watching the night it happened. However, if you're sure I've forgotten something, please feel free to PM me your link.

Okay, this is totally off topic, but I can't find Majors and Minors ANYWHERE on the Hub network in my area. It won't even let me search for the title. It stops me at Major - won't allow the "s" so I can't go on. Has anyone figured out what happened to the show? Is it just my area. It wasn't on Friday and it wasn't on tonight. They advertised the heck out of it on major networks and now it seems to be gone? Anyone else find it?? I think someone ( mys*&@^#r?) mentioned earlier in the thread that the show would be taking a 2 week break.

I think someone ( mys*&@^#r?) mentioned earlier in the thread that the show would be taking a 2 week break. Ohhhh, okay. I couldn't figure out what happened. It's is NO WHERE on the schedule but I can't see 2 weeks ahead. Very weird given all the advertising but I guess it is just delayed. The last I heard it was moving to Sundays. Thank you for answering.

LOLOL
Who said anything about Monte? I have avoided talking about Monte because I simply do not have the facts necessary to make any kind of judgment.
I was talking about THE MUSIC. I was talking about ADAM and HIS evolution.

Stardust... I know it's frustrating for many, including Adam. But I truly feel that in the end all will work out. Adam is also digesting this info/scheme/ChessMove as we. He has resources. Even if it's not checkmate, it will be checked. I agree with this. In the larger scheme of things this is a pretty minor to medium bump. Things will settle... and Adam will emerge unscathed and victorious. (sorry, I'm reading a gothic novel)

It's probably getting crowed behind that couch, but I like the crowd that is assembling there.
No way I will purchase the BFM album. Adam made it clear how he feels about this. a) this is not about money or at least not his money. I think it is about money when it comes to ensuring that Malcolm Wieselwhatever does not get it. So, I think I am doing the right thing in Adam's interest by not buying and hope that Adam has somehow made it right with Monte for also forgoing his part of the revenue stream.
The listening question is an interesting one, because I think Cassie you are right. Beyond the business question at hand, if Adam artistically does not believe in the material then it is reasonable to assume that he does not want us to listen to it either. So if it is about 'respecting his wishes' then I technically should not be listening to them. I am not that much of a purist, I guess. But of Adam's old material I have listened to the various UC recordings, as imperfect as their sound may be, significantly more than to any of the existing CV material. I certainly have heard them a few times, but they did not become part of my playlists. Not really worth it, volume-wise to be worried about it, imo. But an interesting question, in principle.
Hoppers, really liked your post and loved how you yesterday tried to get things off to a good start moderating. Things only started to fall apart later, so I appreciate your calming influence.
The Lisa's nonsense cost Monte a lot of damage and I do believe that a lot of the deteriorating trust in Monte is directly related to that. But I still think that all people are responsible for what they are saying on twitter or elsewhere and when somebody who has stood by Adam for the longest time is raked over the coals for stuff that is in no way proven, then I somehow cannot just write that off so easily.
There is a balance to be struck between free speech on one hand and character assassination on the other and everybody needs to define their own ethical standards there, but I am with Rihannsu on that one. There are days where that Glamily is not a home and I want to run far and fast. And of course there are others, where you feel that there is no better Glamily than this one. When I read that Liam had given a shout-out to Atop yesterday I just thought: Oh no, of all the pretty days we have had in this place together....yesterday was not a good one for any newcomer to swing by for a very first visit.
Now two things I do have to get off my chest, because they have been irking me plenty and they deserve to be said, so here we go:
We can have different opinions all we want, but attacking another long time fan as not being an Adam supporter, just because that person sees things differently, that totally rubs me the wrong way. j/s
And secondly, when you are taking a mud bath, please don't complain that things around you aren't glittery enough. Scrape away some of the mud. There might be some glitter below it. Or look in the mirror. You ain't all that sparkly yourself, you just notice it more in others.
That's all folks....

[gently] Tigerlily - what does any of that have to do with Citizen Vein? And yes, Monte has many other projects, none other which have to do with Adam. Adam wasn't anything more than a chorus boy when Monte asked him to sing with him. Monte was giving Adam a break at that time, not the other way around. Adam was making well over 100K a year as a "chorus boy". It is extremely difficult to get a "chorus boy" position for a major touring company, especially for a production like Wicked. There are literally thousands of people who audition for 30-40 spots. Adam isn't in CV. He is a solo artist. Monte did not give Adam a break. That CV music went nowhere. They played in small bars to a handful of people. AI gave Adam his break. The show is what gave him the start on his career. Being on AI is what got Adam a recording contract. Adam created his own breaks. HE put in all the hours and hours of hard work and practice to get to the place where he could capture the hearts of millions on a AI. HE was talented enough to become the runner up and charm the critics and media on the summer tour. HE worked his ass off for 18 months touring, interviewing, and promoting his first album. Monte wasn't any part of Adam's rise to fame. Adam doesn't owe Monte a thing, he did all this on his own. (He did hire him and make him musical director, plus Adam's fans fully funded an album for M. Isn't that enough? How long is Adam going to "owe Monte"?)
