I just told by husband about Adam being up against Nick Jonas in the Hotties poll. He said, "No way, really? I'm no chick, but even I know that Adam Lambert is hotter than Nick Jonas!" ILH! Ha! Smart man.

I think that the problem that I had with FYE, IIHY, and WWFM, which I really think, well I think I can say, I know that Adam probably won't go through with this Adam #2 is that, for those singles Adam was mainly trusting in and listening to the proven hit makers, ie. Max Martin, Dr. Luke, in whatever formula of what was proven to work with other artists, instead of listening to his instincts as well, as to what works for him. Wow that is a bad run on sentence. But anyway, yeah, I think that when he was able to Adamize and tweak these songs, it sounded better then it did initially did in the beginning for some performances. I agree he definitely Adamized the songs I wish Adam would just release a snippet the 5 week wait is tearing me asunder.

This is Adam's first TV performance of WWFM, I think. Sounds pretty darn great to me! Sounds like the single, which is what he would want since he is trying to get people to buy the single. And OMG! Those pants!! Can we also appreciate the Zehra pants! ;D

Those pants!! Haven't watched that one in a long time. I always have loved his last note where he ends on the proper note and then goes lower by 1/2 step. He didn't riff all over the place like many people might do: he just sang one extra note and completely floored me. Awwww I was there! I'm lucky enough to have a friend who works for the show who hooked me and my man up with the best seats in the house--didn't even have to wait in line! It aired on the Wednesday, but because of Thanksgiving they taped it early, on the Monday, the day after the AMAs. He was ALL HEART. And afterwards we got to sit at Letterman's desk and then go check out the Green Room, which still had Adam-and-band-nibbled cupcakes in it. Good times. He really did sound great. FYI, I might have advance notice again if he goes on Letterman, via same friend (*fingers crossed*). You know, it's funny, if you had asked me when FYE first came out which songs I liked LEAST (not including TFM, which I don't really think of as part of the album), I might have said (Aftermath, then) WWFM, then FYE, then IIHY (and then Sleepwalker). LOL, I felt a little like they were releasing singles in reverse order of what I liked best. But Adam can sell a song like no other. I totally love the AL! slowed down WWFM, and the SYTYCD performance of it is still one of my favorite Adam performances. IIHY was easily my favorite moment of Glam Nation, the three concerts I went to, and I adore the song on the album, now, too. I do have to admit, though, that of all the times Adam performed FYE live, I liked only the UK MTV live sessions version, because it was so campy and fun. Generally, watching it made me feel a little uncomfortable for some reason, maybe it was the key, maybe the slightly awkward choreo that tended to go with it. All that said, however, I DO hope they pick something more exciting for the first single this time around than WWFM. Adam sang that song beautifully, and made a really strong case for the pared-down appeal of the lyric, but the radio version never really warmed me up, though I requested it like a good girl, and was glad that it did so well. I'm hoping for something a little less, I dunno, conventional...hope I don't need to duck now!

The American Idol WWFM was great! I remember all of us being on line watching this either via TV or for us West Coasters, a stream on the computer. We were all stunned at the performance. Stunned in a good way! I think I may have been speechless! I had 2 friends, who knew I was a big Adam fan, call me afterwards and tell me how impressed they were and how he really showed up the talent for that year.[/quote] Ha! I remember getting stuck in traffic and since I knew I wouldn't make it home on time, I pulled over in a church parking lot and watched the stream on my laptop there ;D That nearly-acapella section at the beginning is still one of my favorite things in the world. The haunting melody, the swirling fog and cone of light, his stark silhouhette, and his gorgeous voice. Takes my breath away. And those notes he hits at the end of "I would give myself away" (starting about 1:34) just literally give me chills. I'm embarrassed to say how often I've rewound those few seconds. OMG now I'm seriously jonesing for new music and Adam on my TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went over to AMW's and watched on her HDTV, and we were all squeeing together, and then I went home and found that my husband had watched, at home, and asked him what he thought, and he said, um, it was a lot of fog. >:( LOL, that's okay, though, he really does appreciate Adam so I can't complain. But yeah, it sure does make me excited to seem him re-staging and reinventing the single from Adam two in the months to come. This is why I can't get too fussed about a Feb (I'm stickin' to Feb) album release. There's gonna be so much to enjoy long before then!

And that Alexander McQueeen jacket with the pearls on the top. He has never worn that again, has he? He also tweeted before the show and told us to expect something different, didn't he? Or maybe one of the band members did?

This AI performance has always been my favorite. I remember feeling so proud when I saw it. His voice was perfect, the lights were perfect, his suit was perfect. My little heart was bump, bump, bumping through the whole performance. It brought tears to my eyes. I was so proud of Adam.

what is PopUpVideo? Is it a program? is it a filler between other programs? Do they play old stuff? who is the target audience? I am sure someone here knows - thx in advance Do you mean you've never seen a Pop Up Video or do you mean when are they shown? If you've never seen one, here you go! thank you mys*&@^#r and stardust! I've never seen one and I have no idea when they are shown. They are quite adorable actually, so it would be great for any of Adam's videos! So, when are they shown? OT: now I can see how Gaga totally stole/copied Madonna. embarrassing IMO. everyone posting the YT's of Adam's performances - thank you! A great memory lane trip!
