Do you mean you've never seen a Pop Up Video or do you mean when are they shown? If you've never seen one, here you go!  thank you mys*&@^#r and stardust! I've never seen one and I have no idea when they are shown. They are quite adorable actually, so it would be great for any of Adam's videos! So, when are they shown? OT: now I can see how Gaga totally stole/copied Madonna. embarrassing IMO. everyone posting the YT's of Adam's performances - thank you! A great memory lane trip! Pop-Up Video had been off the air for 9 years and just returned this week. On the east coast it is at 12pm and at 12:30pm. Basically 2 half hour segments back to back on VH1. |

Ahhhhh, I LURRRRVE FYE and THIS is one of my favorite WWFM's on TV, although I love them ALL! Juniemoon, was it you who has a thing for spats? Me, too! And the shriveled-balls shoulder accoutrement, and his makeup, and THE SUIT! MAY EVERY MAN'S PANTS FIT THIS SPLENDIDLY. Oh, yeah...and the VOICE! Yes, I totally loved the spats, and this performance. I think it is one of the best he ever did of WWFM. I was still in the early days of my Adam obsession then (came on board with the AMAs) and it was so great to see him on TV. Was this the same suit he wore to the PFLAG gathering? Somehow there, it looked like Grand-dad's suit, but this time ... maybe it was the dead grackle on the shoulder but it looked amazing! |

I think that the problem that I had with FYE, IIHY, and WWFM, which I really think, well I think I can say, I know that Adam probably won't go through with this Adam #2 is that, for those singles Adam was mainly trusting in and listening to the proven hit makers, ie. Max Martin, Dr. Luke, in whatever formula of what was proven to work with other artists, instead of listening to his instincts as well, as to what works for him. Wow that is a bad run on sentence. But anyway, yeah, I think that when he was able to Adamize and tweak these songs, it sounded better then it did initially did in the beginning for some performances. Confession: Upon first listening to FYI, I wrote him off. Way overproduced, hid his voice...Didn't go back for about a year when I started youtubing performances... then bought the live dvd/cd...I can now say I've come to my senses and have an unhealthly addiction to the man! I'll even risk more wrath by admitting that I am prepared to maybe not like his new album--if so I'll wait until he perfects it on the stage and brings the raw, upfront vocals. Hope I am wrong though! |

Hope I am wrong though! overproduced indeed. but there were so many promotional live appearances, and the tour YTs, that I have an ipod full of live versions to listen to. the only album song I love is BO. So, even if Adam#2 will turn out to be too techno/electro pop - I know that I will have a plethora of live versions to enjoy as soon as the tour kicks in. |

Midwifespal, I had forgotten how good that performance on Letterman was. Thank you! *sigh* ALL HEART indeed. He looked so good and sexy, and yet so vulnerable and humbled at the same time, you can see it in his eyes. It's crazy the ride we've been on following this man. I completely agree with psychedelic and whoever else brought up the live performances where Adam feels comfortable versus the others - especially when it comes to tv performances. I, too, have noticed the difference, and it totally sucks, because, naturally, he tends to get jitters for the most important performances. And so for performances where a lot of things are on the line, he sometimes doesn't show the best that he can do, which makes me feel so bad! Of course, even "not the best that he can do" for Adam translates to "amazing" by other artists' standards, so it's all good. I just wish he nailed, like really amazingly absolutely nailed a big awards show performance, you know?  Kinda like what he did on Idol - again, a stage where he felt comfortable, because he had performed there so many times. I am so very excited about this next album! That is all. ;D |

If there IS melodrama, Tommy is kind of in the middle. No lectures on right or wrong, it's like having to choose either husband or wife after a nasty divorce. He probably doesn't know any more than we do about what really happened, PLUS, it's about his career and gigs, too. If there is a real problem between A and M, I hate it for Tommy since they are both his friends and both have done a lot for him. You may have posted before reading the follow up post to this but Tommy is talking about Monte's songs on his recently released album, not the bastard album. HeHe I did and I just got back. You have to be quick on here and if you leave, you’re left in the dust. |
