Whomever owns the rights to the CV music... has the rights. Been involved in professional sport and business ventures enough to know this legality issue. Yet ... sometime lemons can be lemonade in the end. [laughs wryly] Pass the lemonade! [snorts] Or is is sweetened lemon-y Kool-Aid? Both?? :

Now you got me all confused again lol. Aren't BOTH bastards being produced by the N.Zealand scum? It looks like it's possible that they are by two different but associated scumbags. Mean RCA will have to work twice as hard. Probably can't stop either - the best that they would be able to do is make them relabel. Paramount sessions = Take One.... it is being bundled with this guy Steve Cooke... and being distributed by Gonzo Distributions..I think.. and being offered Dec 6 BFM = Citizen Vein music.... Colwell Productions..? being released in Nov. Do I have this right? Isn;t there a single being offered Oct 18th? Is it coming from BFM?

Friendly neighborhood voting reminder: The must follow on twitter category ends at midnight EST tomorrow! So folks voting might all want to focus on that category to that for the next 24 hours. If you look at the daily graphs, the vast majority of Adam fans are voting for MustFollowonTwitter only now, so it's got a much better chance of winning (FanArmy has flatlined). Beiber is Adam's main competition but it looks like we may be equal or slightly ahead there. An influx of new voters could easily make the difference. Login with your twitter and max out your votes!! New voters welcome! www.omusicawards.com/vote/must-follow-artist-on-twitter/adam-lambert-must-followJust maxed out my votes! Thanks for the reminder!

Mean RCA will have to work twice as hard. Probably can't stop either - the best that they would be able to do is make them relabel. I have asked this before but never received an answer. When Adam first tweeted his frustration he said "Beg For Mercy project is same as 'Take One'. some songs I worked on 5 yrs ago and never finished. This release comes as a surprise to me..." but we know that is not the case...BFM is old CV stuff and the Paramount Sessions is the Take One stuff. Could it be that he did not realize that and was less frustrated with the BFM stuff? He did disapprove of both projects but just wondering how this error factors in anything.... Don't go all pounding on me....just asking a question as it is really not abundantly clear and feeds into all the Monte bashing....no not defending anything there either...heaven forbid....I am just asking the question. BTW, while I do not personally self-identify as a "pearl clutcher" I think those that do have just as much fanning rights as we crazier diamante's...I would hate to see that term added to our arsenal of 'names' to call 'others'....we have quite enough I think ???

You have a lot more faith in the interviewers than I do. I see interviewers asking the same dumb quetsions they usually do. Until Adam gets to Australia that is! I don't think these albums will be talking points. Actually, they shouldn't be. The new album should be the talking points. I really don't see Adam answering questions about them at all. :-/

Not to repeat myself, But yes...artists like Adam have paid their dues. This music is a part of his "history". (Don't mean the Take one or 2 stuff) but the CV music is!!!! Early Beatles music ...eveyone was interested...fans knowing it was "history " not the NOW music. BUT still interested. Just sick about the timing of the release and confusion...certainly not sick about the music. Bet almost everyone on this sight has been interested enough to at least listen to the old CV music on youtube. Whomever owns the rights to the CV music... has the rights. Been involved in professional sport and business ventures enough to know this legality issue. Yet ... sometime lemons can be lemonade in the end. Noangel states "They may end up making more or less than they would anyway, but a larger segment of the buying public would know that they are slimy scum, and the publicity and talking points would be well worth it, IMO." I concur...can this work to his advantage.? Why not spin to do so!!! ...What can be done to spin this in Adam's favour.... is the way to go with this.... for his mangement team. This has NEVER been the issue for me. I have watched Adam's CV YTs since the Idol days (and the :38 video probably more than I care to admit). As many of us have said until we were blue in the face, IF this was just about "bringing Adam's early works into the light." GREAT!! The CV sound is not for me; I have them on my iTunes, but rarely ever play, however, I would buy the album IF it had been released any other time in the past two years (except for directly opposite FYE), was marketed as, "The Citizen Vein featuring Adam Lambert" and they received Adam's blessing, in addition to his approval on artwork, branding, track selection, etc. Adam has laid bare his past; he doesn't hide anything, from Linus to "Debbie Does Dallas." It has never been about "his early works." It has always been about a sleazy, calculated attempt to not only "ride his coattails," but I'm now now picking up on an almost aggressive vibe, like they are intentionally trying to undermine his release. THIS is what it has been about for me from the very beginning. And as someone who has had to navigate the minefield that is Hollywood in the past, I feel deeply for him that he's had to pay for that one "opportunity" over and over and over again.

So this Paramount Sessions is just a bundle of the original (unchanged?) Take One CD and a Steve Cooke CD??
