kinda expecting Adam to tweet support for Monte....cuz he's like that (darling boy) ...even then, I'll be hard pressed to EVER look at Monte with anything but contempt. He and his minions are pissing me off! Yep. Adam is a big-hearted "light and love" kind of guy but even if I see a pic of him and Monte holding hands and singing Kum By Ah (?-sp) my thoughts on Monte and his "minions" will forever remain my thoughts. And they ain't pretty.  |

At this point I'm done gnashing my teeth over Monte. I think he's made a big mistake deciding to align himself with this project but he has and all I can do now is stop following him on twitter(done) and not buy anything he's selling. I don't want to dwell upon how his choice impacts any relationship he has with Adam. I'm going to use all my outrage and direct it at the source of this mess at the Rat who created this project. It would be great to able to harness all this energy into some kind of action. CONSUMER POWER!!!!! We are a potent consumer force. We have raised almost a million dollars for charity in a bit over two years. We buy Adam endorsed products and merch. We go to his concerts. So much going on right now is out of our control, but the buck stops.. with the bucks!!! I know where my money will and will NOT be spent. |

I have been wondering about this for a bit now. There was a fuss on twitter when Monte's album that was made with the Kickstarter funds came out - from what I gathered from twitter, he had said that Tommy would be playing on the album and T fans had donated based on that. I haven't even looked at the album, but I guess T did NOT actually play on the album - there were several complaints. I think someone was also supposed to get something signed by both Monte & Tommy and it only had M's signature. I'm not one who pays much attention to the band - just what I see go by in my twitter feed - but I think there have been some other M gigs where T hasn't played recently. There has always been some possible reason why not - but I don't think I've seen anything actually linking T & M in the last month or two. A has also made a point of tweeting with/about T since this whole bruhaha started. Just all looks a little interesting, but is completely circumstatial and may mean nothing!!! , you must have missed my post on the previous page, Tommy has not played at Monte's gigs since May. His last gig with Monte was right before Lisa's twitter rant.  hmmmm ... looks even more like a split then. My guess would be that A and T were trying to keep things at least cordial - I think T went to M's release party and A tweeted link to M's album. Not sure that is going to continue..... |

I think Tommy's GF had a gig somewhere last night.. maybe he was at that show.. or with Ravi.. Liz was with Tommy at Monte's release party as part of the audience. (Not sure if Liz Ann had a gig earlier.) She may have, because Monte didn't go on until 10:30. She DID have a gig. I saw pictures of her, singing, some people tweeted them. |

I agree that is likely but there seems a will not to read EXACTLY what ADAM said and I put in quotes. That is what I am asking/adressing. I repeat: " Beg For Mercy project is same as 'Take One'. some songs I worked on 5 yrs ago and never finished. This release comes as a surprise to me..." I read Adam's tweet to mean BFM is the same as Take One in that it is someone cashing in on old stuff that Adam doesn't want released. Not that it was the same songs. Yes exactly.... VERY VERY EASY TO mis-interpret such a statement....unless one can PERCEPTION CHECK with the individual. And we did not have that chance, so we all took this statement differently, which has caused much fuss. PHEW and Darn! Sorry this is pages later but I just got back to the thread. |

I don't think the people you might be thinking about actually care about Adam Lambert's cred. I really don't. They are probably rockers or indie snobs and BFM won't make one bit of difference because Adam is firmly in Pop. I love you, NoAngel, but this is a point we will have to disagree on. IMO, the least amount of publicity for these 2 bastard albums, the better. I hear your point, and I'm ok with agreeing to disagree   |

Update regarding yarn, by the way--I have a source I have bought nice hand-dyed yarn from a few times (they have an ebay presence and an online store). Their prices are good and they do custom dying. If anyone is interested, I would be interested in putting in an order for some Adam yarn (black, gray, purple and peacock blue with some sparkle?). if anyone is interested, they can PM me and we can talk details.
