LMAO!! Appropriate for today's discussion: Hmm, something is wrong ... (okay, embedded – via @xglambertheartx)  LOL, love this!! But in RL I don't have ONE SINGLE PERSON I can squee to. Well, I guess I could, but they'd all look like that other person in the cartoon... :-/  I don't either! But I do have Adam to help through the rough spots. I was dealing with a few very cranky, whiney family members today and it was really starting to get me down. When I got in the car to drive back home, I put in the GNT CD and played from the remix intro through FEVER over and over and over for the hour ride back. By the time I came in the front door, life was good again and there was a smile on my face. Music has always had a positive influence on me, but Adam can cur ;De almost any problem I run across. ;D |

I bought a new handbag last week. It wasn't exactly the bag I wanted but when I saw it was a Giani Bernini bag I just couldn't resist buying it. Now every time I look at the GB logo on the front I secretly smile. My assistant at work noticed that I smiled when I picked up my bag and she asked me "what?" and I just told her I liked the bag. LOL this isn't the exact bag but very similar. Same logo.  hee hee. Just bought some GB boots today. I am going to have a smile on my face every time I where them. |

I agree with what Rihannsu posted about Juneau & Xena's book. While not everything in the book is my cup of tea, they deserve kudos for what they have created. And ... as a writer, I just wanted to put in my perspective that there is absolutely nothing unethical about writing about a particular topic and "putting money in your pocket." In addition, I doubt very seriously J&X have made any real money. Truth be told they have probably lost money. If you think the music industry is screwed up, try publishing. It is almost impossible to make money from books these days. Well, at least they stopped putting out press releases about Adam as if they were his own management. |
