Damn, girl, you're a tough one! (In a good way, of course!) LOL I'm all feeling pleased with myself, no, no, that's not me, I don't do that...ooh, yeah, that one kinda is me, ha ha nervous laugh I totally do that! ;D. Really great essay and really great questions, lady. As ever, I'm totally impressed.

It made me think of something again, that I first thought of during the recent twitter party, when Gelly was kind enough to relay some of my questions to Adam. I know your questions, NoAngel, are to be directed at ourselves, but they also made me think of some good questions for Adam, and as his promo might kick off soon, and we're always being asked to tweet questions for him, and he's always complaining about same-old, same-old, might it be a good idea (MODS) to have a thread here somewhere for people to post only really good new questions for Adam (tweetable length) so that when we get the call for questions Atoppers with twitter accounts have someplace to go where they're all rounded up together, for inspiration? That sentence was way too long, but does that make sense? An Ask Adam thread, that's not for discussions but just for us to post a question or more that we really want to Ask Adam but maybe forget in the excitement of the twitter party so that we end up asking something like, "um, um, um, what's your favorite color of icecream?!" or "Do you like us? Do you really really like us?!?" instead, lol.

One thing that made me think of it was, NoAngel, your awesome "Do you ever look at your closet and think fuck that's a lot of black?" question (although you may have phrased it more delicately, I can't remember). I thought, ooh, better remember that one for next time. This way we could. What do y'all think, Atoppers?

Oh, and totally unrelated, I now officially hold the "Lamest Adam Dream Ever" title so the rest of you can just give up. My dream?

I come to the daily thread here at Atop, somewhere in the middle, and all I see is a full-on squee-session, hyperactively flailing smilies, scrolling text about flipping out, a full on happy atop meltdown about...something. Gelly has posted the absolute biggest flaily smilies I have ever seen. What the hell happened, I wonder? But i'm in that dream state where I really desperately want to do something but am impotent to do it--I'm trying to move the relevant muscle to scroll backwards or forwards or something but I Just Can't, and I'm going crazy looking at all this Grammy-award-level flailing and excitement and not knowing what it's about. And then I wake up. :

I’ve also been trying to figure out why I feel so strongly about Adam, why he’s become a daily “presence” in my life, and the first – and probably the best answer to this question – is that there is no rational explanation, it’s just some magic that he wields… but then, if I try to be rational about it:
1) I was badly depressed at the time during AO8 and then I happened to come across his audition and started following his progress through the season and got some “energy” from him that pulled me through and made me feel better, and, as lynne said (let me quote her because I could not say it better: ”he made me feel- feel empowered, feel connected, feel engaged, feel healed, feel alive, feel inspired, feel loving, feel creative, feel compassionate, and yes, feel challenged”).
2) Realizing how articulate and smart and generous he is was such a welcome discovery, I feel I owe him my allegiance, there’s so few people like that in the world, and furthermore he has flushed out so many like-minded people (this community): it’s exciting and such a consolation to have a stream of love and tolerance flow into my life, something I really needed as a background to my life, rather uneventful and secluded and disappointed with how the world has turned out after a fling with hope way back in the late ‘60s.
3) To be frank, the bold sexy stuff is a bit disconcerting for me, and must admit it goes beyond what I instinctively like or feel drawn to, but then I totally sympathize with his refusal to be caged in one look, one gender, one soul even, it conveys something that I value very much, a sense of freedom, I would say of universality, if I were not afraid to sound rhetorical…OK, I’ll say it, because it sums it all up: he reconciles me with the universe.

Can anyone tell me the best Kindle and the easiest one to use. Is everyone satisfied with a kindle? Sorry to change subject for one moment.

Wow, that was smart!
Makes me wonder how she knew all that though. How would one know that the owners of the first account were trying to change it to Citizen Vein? And then why would Citizen Vein be suspended?
Also, WHY were they trying to change it to Citizen Vein? Has RCA perhaps won a battle to take Adam's name off the cover??
Sorry, for all the questions, but this is the way my mind works! LOL!
