Wouldn't Adam been smart enough to terminate this contract before AI????? I think ADAM may have told Welsford that he was termininating. However, according to this, if WELSFORD didn't tell Adam that he was ok with the terminination, IT DIDN"T COUNT. |

However, according to this, if WELSFORD didn't tell Adam that he was ok with the terminination, IT DIDN"T COUNT. Well there has to be a legal loophole because according to the statement above I mentioned, he has rights to written songs hereafter and that would mean FYI and we didn't hear a peep from him. So again, I'm thinking it regards to RCA removing BEM and their right to sell/advertise th CD. Adam did give them the right to use his name to market this CD. OH well hoping the attorney give us the know all |

I wonder if Adam is stopping in NYC on his way back because non of the non-stop flights from London to LAX match the times he would be tweeting from the airport. Unless he is tweeting on the plane? There are many flights to NYC, however that have a good matching time. Hmm... And it does not claim any ownership against recordings outside of the ones that Adam did for Welsford, is that correct? If so, that explains why they did not include FYE (although Adam did co-write 4-5 songs on that album, Welsford would probably not want to take on RCA directly). I'm surprised if this agreement is still valid. Either Adam thought he had terminated it or Welsford is lying, because I can't believe that Adam would lie about still being under contract. I also would think that this is something the Idol attorneys would have checked before they allowed Adam on the show. |
