I love all the *vocal experts* in youtube comment sections. Who knew that's where they all hang out? LOL It's true about the experts. I never have made a comment on YT until this. Someone was saying that vibrato is just a way to cover up singing that is out of tune: that it should be used only as an accent here and there, not constantly. That made the musician in me do a few eye rolls. : I responded that highly trained singers and most instrumentalists (violin, flute, HeWhoCannot amedet, sax, etc.) use vibrato to enhance tone quality as a matter of course--not to cover up pitch problems. It is expected. Not using it is a sign of elementary skills. Only singers of popular styles of music are allowed to be called "good" without using vibrato. Naturally, the other commenter didn't get my point because he/she does care for vibrato. The facts won't make a dent in his/her original claim. (Okay all you classical musicians, don't ping me. 8-) 8-) I know that vibrato can ease a pitch issue here or there, but it doesn't erase intonation problems. And, yes, musicians in the Baroque period and earlier DID use vibrato as an ornament--not all the time.)

I have to admit I thought about it alot and only because I care about Adam's happiness not Monte's. This must hurt him alot. Specially because of the long friendship they've shared and the fabulous year they all shared together on the road! This really sucks!!!! :( And again we are assuming that because there was no tweet that he didn't contact Adam - I am pretty sure he has his phone number... but again why do I care. Oh that's right I don't ;D Well, I thought it was an interesting and valid observation, cheriemelissa. Sorry, but in this day and age when celebrities DO give shout outs on Twitter and it's one of Adam's trademark MOs, when someone doesn't reciprocate, it is starkly obvious. Maybe there is reason for this, maybe there is not, but I am a believer that however something is extended to you, you respond in kind. Twotrue!!! Yet another blast from the MJ's past!! Great to see you!! I would NOT consider $100 for a song comparable to normal studio work; those are sweat shop wages. Union minimum should be many times that. Welsford hosed Adam up, down and sideways and the fact that he EXPECTS MORE NOW? So effing sickening. This is predatory behavior, pure and simple. It's just like the sleazebags who trap aspiring models and actresses into doing an "artistic" photo shoot, then lure them into porn – or blackmail them once they're successful. But the thing is, artists struggling to get that break sometimes have to take the risk because there are those that DO pan out. Welsford probably has an entire shelf of demos he has in the cooler just waiting for the artists to break big, then he can pull it out of cobwebs, to exploit the artist's newly found fame. SUCKS!!

I know, Susie, looking at the rates Adam got paid makes me sick. And now he wants money from Adam!! I mean it really makes me nauseous! It makes me angrier at Monte too, because with his age and experience, he should have known better. I really feel like he pimped Adam out to this scumbag. I hope when the judge reads all that, he decides that Welford owes Adam at least $75,000!! (I know that can't happen. I am just throwing it out to the Universe!) ;D
