Yes, Adam's beard/gotee is often refered to as "Melvin". I think it started with some sort of joke that it was a separate being that had attached itself to his face. It may also have been influenced by the glam-dancers naming their rear ends - although I can't at all remember what the name was for Adam's! Didn't the dancers refer to Terrance's rear end as Melvin? I seem to remember a pic one of them took, walking down a street behind Terrance, and there was a sign for a place with the name Melvin in it. Anyone else remember? Was it Dante?

[snicker] Go you, girl, with the "redistribution" effort. ____________________________
Getting back to the topic of the Rolling Stone article, and the "now that I am [considering marriage], I can't do it" quote, I remember reading somewhere (hell, it might of been ATOP, I seem to do most of my news reading here these days!) that the National Immigration Service (NIS) is starting to NOT initiate cases with same-sex partners.
If Sauli and Adam got married, its true they wouldn't have any of the normal Federal protections, but its becoming unlikely that deportation would occur if (heaven forbid), Sauli lost his work visa for some reason.

I have wondered if Adam and Company could hire Sauli and be valid Visa wise... After all mom and brother work/worked for him so in the family. Any thoughts?

ahem... the solution is for the boys to move north, where gay marriage is legal and federal protections extend from coast to coast to coast. ;D ;D

Yeah, seoulmate, I couldn't believe that they were up top, at eye level, in the pop(?) section, next to some Gaga CDs, I think. I can't remember now. I was so agitated. It seemed like special placement, the kind I'd think you'd have to pay for, but I don't really know. I didn't even think to check Adam's regular section to see if there were any copies of For Your Entertainment to move there instead. I'll be better prepared next time.

I have no idea what Sauli's visa status is or was, but didn't he stop working for the radio station? and for that matter Sauli might not be able to travel outside the US, just because getting back in may not be that easy... Marriage may be the needed option now... hope I am wrong and he has no limitations what so ever... As far as I know - an American firm wishing to hire a foreign citizen needs to show that they cannot find a comparable specialist inside the USA - this fact can be used as a basis for an H visa (may be some other type as well). Sauli qualifies for a specific job of course, but will the INS go for it?

news.lalate.com/2011/11/22/adam-lambert-lawsuit-response-set-for-january-exclusive/LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Adam Lambert’s response to the Colwel Platinum Entertainment lawsuit is due after the holidays, LALATE can exclusively reveal. Adam Lambert was sued by Colwel Platinum Entertainment Inc earlier this month. The Court has now set Lambert’s answer due by January 1, 2012. On November 15, Lambert agreed to “save the expense of serving a summons and complain in this case. I understand that I will keep all defense or objections to the lawsuit, the court’s jurisdiction, and the venue of the citation, but that I waive any objections to the absence of a summons or of service.” He also agreed “that I must file and serve an answer or a motion under Rule 12 within 60 days from November 2, 2011, the date when this request was sent. If I fail to do, a default judgment will be entered against me.” Read more... ??? :-[ Can one of you lawyer types please translate into simple english for us dummies? Also, maybe a really brief "This is good" / "This is bad" / "This is essentially meaningless" summary, so we can all then go back to the important squeeing at hand. These were the tweets I saw discussing the law suit. @karmalovesgumbo links to the waiver that Adam signed. @karmalovesgumbo Adam waived the requirement that he be personally served w the complaint in the lawsuit. twitdoc.com/MRPtwitter.com/#!/KarmaLovesGumbo/status/137677073023119360 @quailing @karmalovesgumbo makes sense -he doesn't want to be chased by process servers, it's annoying plus it makes it look like he's afraid of suit.
in reply to @quailing
@karmalovesgumbo @quailing Although, he could have just designated his attorney to receive it for him.twitter.com/#!/KarmaLovesGumbo/status/137686502464425984

Dante was the name for Terrance. Adam's was named Fritz I believe.
ETA: I swear I only posted this once. Where the heck did the second one come from?

Sauli qualifies for a specific job of course, but will the INS go for it? ?? Is that a new(-ish) requirement? I don't remember hearing that my dad had to prove he was the only possible person who could do the job before he was an American citizen. Admittedly, that was a long time ago, but he worked in the US for about 15 years before he decided to become a citizen. [laughs] And that was primarly because after all of us kids, he figured he wasn't going anywhere, bit the bullet, and took the test!

For someone who grew up near the Artic, Sauli complains more about the cold than Adam!!
