People - please explain to me why are you flailing over Adam's promoter being ecstatic about Adam's album? Isn't it her job? If she were not doing that wouldn't she be undermining her own job? ..and yes, I do know the history of the FYE promo in UK, but still... logically I see no reason to be surprised. Anyone else - I am flailing with you, but Shoshanna or RCA or DMG people - I am staying calm and collected. re Adam's next "Crew" - I don't care. I just trust him. I am absolutely confident he will find the people he needs, I only hope he has a nice budget this time so he can have his imagination fly! I think it is just because she was NOT flailing last era - she said nice things about Adam personally & about his voice, but I can't remember a single major complement about FYE.

Once she quantifies that with a specific comparison, not just random praise, she is committing herself. Inherent in that phrase is comparison to her other clients – Usher, Britney, Shakira, John Legend, Willow Smith, Keri Hilson, New Kids on the Block, etc. If she has just elevated Adam's album over "most" of the pop albums release in the past few years, she is elevating it over "some" of her own clients. The praise is not what is flailworthy so much – that's expected. It's the quantification – that is not.

I wasn't following her last era, but seeing how talks about the other people she reps now, it seems like she's positive, but not over the top, and pretty blunt at times, that's why the showbiz press people she's joking with feel comfortable making fun of Britney's DVD cover to her and stuff like that. This is a big statement to make, and not the kind of thing one would say without feeling pretty confident about it. So i'm giving it a hell ya! Also, i'm not remembering but didn't she or one of the people Adam shared his songs with already tease that there would be a Times article or something coming out about Adam? I think/hope they are reaching for more prestigious UK press this time. ETA: what Susie said

Yes! It definitely has a reggae influence. I love it too. I would love to see Javier have some success. Talk about someone who has paid his dues! Totally agree with this! He's another talented guy who hopefully got the break he needed by participating on a reality tv show. I'm all for people trying this and making a better life for themselves. I can't even imagine life without Adam Lambert in it!!

I woulda been all "Uhh, because I said so." Yeah my understanding is that she isn't the type to flail like a fan, and that she def isn't the type who had even had any kind of major bertian flail in the past....so something definitely changed on that front. The music must truly be excellent in her opinion to make such big sweeping statements like that....and seeing as how she runs pr for other big names pop peeps, it could be a pretty dangerous thing to do in a way--basically say HAY THIS DUDE IS BETTER THAN YOU BUT KEEP PAYING ME ANYWAYS!

OK, thank you everyone for your take. I am staying with my calm although I am sure: 1) she LOVES Adam's album because it is probably THE BEST EVER (and not just "one of the best") AND 2) he charmed her to death and she just can't help herself now....
