Congrats to Adam (and loyal voters)! (Pop Award)
I love 99% of Adam photos, but this one, not so much. I’m not sure I can explain why. Maybe because I can always think of 1000 others I like better? Most of which I’ve used as a screen saver over the past 10+ yrs. I’m having trouble giving up the Christmas shot by the wishing well in his back yard...

So happy that Adam won the Best Male Artist Pop Music poll! Glamberts worked hard for him and it paid off. Now if only the Grammys would recognize such a talented man and his great music. He's as good as any nominee.
I will not be watching the Grammys tonight. Not because I don't think that the artists are talented. They each are talented in their own way. I just find the whole thing very manipulated and quite unfairly run. I really don't care who wins. But the thing is, being nominated for Grammys and winning them is a very powerful career booster. It gives artists huge cred whether they deserve it or not. Plain and simple.
Love Brian's sea shanty song! Those shanties are all the rage right now.
Interesting to know what Adam is doing in the studio, if he is actually there working on something.
And the plastic trash bag pants are just plain dumb. JMO. LOL

I'll be recording and fast-forwarding through the Grammy's just because I like to see the performances.
I have to laugh at the trash bag pants. How much do they cost??? High fashion!
When I was in my 20's, a girlfriend and I re-purposed real black trash bags into swimsuits so we could hang out in a hot tub with some friends. It was actually a lot of fun! I made some holes for my arms and legs and then tied it off around the neck -- it resembled a very fashionable Victorian bathing costume! Sitting in the hot tub the whole thing expanded and when I stood up all the water rushed out the leg holes which led to some hilarity! And then the lovely feeling of your body enclosed in wet clinging plastic! LOL

Not watching the Grammys either mainly because we haven’t been following much music this year (not that we ever do, haha), and we have a ton of other stuff we’re binge watching. Oh well.
$775 for a couple of trash bags? What a waste (no pun intended). I know Adam can spend his money however he likes, and he likes to be edgy. But geez, they can’t be very comfortable, either!

I just remembered two days ago to cancel my Amazon streaming account. It was only $10 a month but I realized I stopped using it soon after Velvet was released and the pandemic cut out all promotion for Adam. I always keep my Adam and QAL Spotify playist streaming (with the volume down) 24/7 so I will keep that account. But that will be my only contribution to streaming even when Adam releases new music. |
