It always depends on the friend. Our cabinet is so full of mugs and i already have quite a few that remind of certain Events.
With me you'd never be wrong with a good Olive oil or "Studentenfutter".
Does the friend Like skincare Produkts? Is she into perfume?
If there is No explizit medical/health contraindication what about sweets or liqour/wine?
A friend once Cut Out many Jokes from Magazines and glued them onto a little Cardboard making it a Collage of the Jokes. She did this to Cheer me Up because i Had a Cold.
Man i Wish i Had a better Idea...If i think of something i'll let you know.

I don't know what Lil Nas X thinks of other gay artists or the doors they broke down. But he was fighting with some fans a few weeks ago when someone said he was using gay to advance his career. He cockily said they could not name 5 gay artists who had been successful in the last 10 years. Yikes. It did not go over so well. Some threw out Adam's name, several drag queens but I was surprised at no mention of SS or Frank Ocean (maybe they are just viewed as successful artists, period?) But like others, the AMA's still hurt because it almost took away his career. And yes, I do believe it hurt him in the US. But Adam will always have the first #1 album in the US as an out gay artist. And he doesn't need to show how gay he is 24/7 for people to appreciate his talent. Adam's vocal ability is a thing of wonder even if he never got the great radio support. He is a gay artist but also a great artist. Period. Meanwhile in Europe. And nobody even blinks an eye... twitter.com/moccia_adriana/status/1396256862463537158?s=21

I'm guessing from Adam's Instagram story that he went to the musical Six while in London. The pop music musical is about the six wives of Henry VIII. I am on the Broadway on Demand mailing list and I received an email advertising it a few weeks ago. After watching the preview video, I thought I would buy a ticket as I thought it was being live-streamed. It was then that I realized that the promotion was to buy a real ticket for some time in September in New York. Oh well, it looked like a good show!

I hope Lil Nas X sees and appreciates the support Adam has given him. I still have AMA-related PTSD where Adam is concerned, and I remember looking for support for him from the industry and seeing mostly crickets. I will grant that in Adam's case, he was a newbie and there was probably no small amount of resentment that he was given that opportunity to begin with, but still...I hurt for him. People may call that AMA performance "a walk" now, but at the time it qualified as a dangerous run - and he almost lost everything. I will never change my opinion that it had a permanent negative effect on his U.S. career, and it's a testament to his talent and his personality that he emerged from it as well as he did. Completely agree with you.

Reminds me of when Lenny Kravitz split his pants and everything hung out on stage ... you could even tell he had, um, a piercing?

Completely agree with you. cleopatra, I totally agree. I still have that PTSD feeling, too. The damage of the AMAs was hard and swift. And it left a long-lasting stain on his early career. I agree with you that his talent and personality gave him the strength to persevere and prove how worthy he was to be successful in the music industry. And he's done darn well, although his US support in the media (radio, TV, etc.) has not matched his international support. He is lucky to have such a loyal world-wide fanbase. Both solo and with Queen. As for Lil Nas, it has to be said that his performance was late on a Saturday night, long after kids would be in bed. Adam's AMA performance was much more in the primetime slot and had lots of mainstream family viewers. Hence the pearl-clutchers.
