Can anyone here advise me on a thoughtful gift to send someone who just had a double mastectomy? She is 500 miles away, so I can't just drop by. I see that folks have recommended mugs and some are mug enthusiasts. These are my absolute favorite mugs of all time. They are big but not chunky and come in some great designs. The boxes they come in are beautiful as well. Bone china goodness. mcintoshmugs.com/Oh, those are lovely. I want one of the grande mugs. Don't tell hubby, but I bookmarked the page lol.

Those mugs are beautiful and so cheerful. Yes, that seems like a great gift!
I own way too much china but my favorite item is a 12 oz. oversized teacup that has an overall floral pattern. It stays warm and is so pleasant to look at!
