As far as I have understood it, the main reason was that it was possible that Adam was guilty of a crime for which he could be sued. That's why he was taken to Pasila, which is the police jail. On the other hand, apparently Sauli was so drunk that it would have been dangerous to take him there, too, since you have to watch carefully for people who have totally passed out so that they don't get hurt (like suffocating to your own vomit). That's why he was taken to Töölö, which is a place especially for these cases. This is just speculation on my part, but this is what I have understood from the general procedures regarding this kind of cases. Your speculations are correct. That's what the police also told in an interview. hmmmm so there is a "drunk tank" and then a police station? Ours are all at one facility. But in a major city, I could see our police taking someone of notoriety to the main police station, rather than a substation (which would be a small or local station with partial facilities).

A musing: My husband and son wrestled ALL THE TIME -- it was constant. It annoyed me for awhile thinking that in some ways he was bullying him. But, then I started really listening and realized that there was ALOT of laughter and that the "sneak attacks" were mutual. They have a very close and loving relationship so now I just look at that "phase" as a way to remain physically close without it being all hugs and kisses. Guys are just different in way they relate to one another. Remember Adam and Neil wrestling in the surf just last summer? I think it's just what guys do. Personally, I'd hate it and am glad that the relationship I have with my girls is quite different Come to think of it, I know we have never wrestled. Venus and Mars.

I'm feeling like an idiot- why can't I find this song so that I can play it? Not an idiot! The link in that quote is not working for some reason. Try this: www.z100.com/player/?station=WHTZ-FM&action=music&mid=21676900ETA: The site seems to be having some glitches now, maybe because it is getting played a lot. Just try it a few times and it should eventually come up, then leave it open for replay I think it also depends on your browser. I clicked on the link on my iPad and saw nothing – not even a blank Flash Player. But when I clicked on the first link in Firefox, it popped right up. Love those Finnish cups!!! Thank you for all our Finn translators! Because of you, we were ahead of the rest of the world on the story. So glad it's turned into much ado about nothing and A may have garnered some "street cred." There is already another hip hop artist who's getting press for being arrested in L.A. last night for vandalism and attacking a sound engineer. In the Rolling Stone article, they wrote that as they took away Tyler "The Creator," his mom was crying, "No, that's my baby!" I thought this kind of hilarious and a commentary on the arbitrary (but often completely false) perceptions we have about people and situations. Here's this hip hop badass (though he's only 21 or so) and his mom is crying and defending him when he does some ridiculous thing. I have no desire to go to the aol comments, like the Yahoo! article yesterday. Who the fuck are those people that have to be so vile and effing clueless? It is really disgusting and I try to remind myself (for the billionth time) that eliciting hate is indicative of his relevance. AND those who sense they are losing will fight back harder and more viciously. They are irrelevant. I can no longer expose myself to their venom. I did creep into Lyndsey's article yesterday – post a supportive, lighthearted comment mentioning the realities of the situation and BTIKM and Trespassing and got the hell out without reading anything else.

This and what Cassie said was exactly what was running through my head yesterday. No one blinks an eye at two siblings beating the crap out of each other, because most people assume their motives aren't bad and its sort of expected, but two guys in a relationship, evenly matched is a form of abuse. I'm glad I'm female and don't have to deal with what that dividing line is. LOL

Yes, the drunk tank is located right next to the block where I used to go to school. So I know the location pretty well.. The main police station, where Adam was taken to, is located about a mile or mile and a half from that place.

Yup. The robe, bed and the bedside lamp show it's the other hotel.
