I think a lot of the views on who might be the aggressor come down to size......our oldest is a university student, a sweet and gentle boy, but at 6ft 5" assumptions are made about him and we have told him many times since he was in high school he cannot afford to get himself in any type of difficult situation at all, whether in a bar, on a date or in the subway, as he will automatically be perceived as the aggressor. Of course he's lucky he's not the subject of worldwide media attention! Interesting! But yep, you're totally right with that and hadn't even thought it would be an issue he would have to deal without throughout life regardless of his personality, etc. And the irony is that often the smaller person is predisposed to being the aggressor. The Napoleon complex is so common it has become cliched. I was in a dog training class once and one of the participants was having aggression issues with her chihuahua puppy (I've known a few chihuahuas that struck terror in the hearts of the entire neighborhood). The trainer said, "He knows he's smaller, THAT's why it's his instinct to act like that. It's your job to understand this and train him properly." (Holla tinafea!! Not talking about your BBs, of course! ) Not saying S and A are anyway indicative of this dynamic, but the surface perception that the larger man must be the aggressor is extremely flawed.

It won't work for me in Firefox, but popped right open when I switched to IE. Of course, Firefox is the one that worked for SusieFierce, lol, so apparently the trick is to have multiple browsers on my computer and keep trying new ones until a link works! On Firefox this will also not play for me, but in Safari it comes right up. There must be some ad-blockers setting that hinder this from playing on Firefox for you too. There is an ad first when you play it w/Safari browser, so that is why I assume it is the ad-blocker that is causing this. In Firefox, I don't want to turn my ad-block off, because this is what I use to read Adamtopia and in other browsers (i.e. Safari) Adamtopia runs much slower for me and also is peppered with ads (on top, on the side, on the bottom). So I enjoy keeping my Firefox settings the way they are, but then I need to use Safari or something else to listen to that song on Z100. Small price to pay. That didn't occur to me but I think you are right, as I do have ad-blocker set on my Firefox.

It is amazing how often (in our younger years) they were approached and picked on by shorter men. I don't know, sort of a "test of courage" or something. And, you're right, it was up to them to walk away and not engage. Anything less would have looked like were the bully. Also, just because of height, everyone thought they would both be great basketball players. That is so far from the truth, it has become hilarious. My brother is so flattered when approached to play hoops. Soon enough, you'll see him assisting the coach cuz he's not fast nor can he jump.

I'm very happy to see they updated the story. I'm surprised. I really didn't think any of these sites would bother updating the story to include Adam's latest tweet. Hopefully, it will be picked up by some others, because the domestic violence meme that was going around yesterday was upsetting.
