WOW!! 31 dudes. Have any of the dudes expressed an opinion? I don't know who is a dude. I just assumed we were all women of all ages. So glad to hear there are men here. I had two sons so when I think of two young men fighting my only point of reference is my sons. They wrestled, fought, swore, laughed, threw things, messed my house up, tore out the front door and broke the hinges on the screen. It always ended up in laughter and me standing in the living room threatening to tell their father. They were both over 6 foot. I am 4'11". That is why I had to say "I am going to tell your father." I even had to chase them with a broom. My one son wore a size 12 1/2 shoe. I picked it up and threw it at him once, but missed, taking out two posts from the stairway to the upstairs. That is my frame of reference. Anybody else think differently or had other experiences. Adam and Neil wrestling could be compared to this example. Adam and Sauli are lovers- they are in a different kind of relationship than a brotherly one. |

Any chance of us getting away from all this TMZ talk and getting back to the bulls? I think the mods are missing, the mods are missing  ;D  I'm checking in from time to time. So, okay, I'll put on the mod hat for a minute, cuz Maria reminds me that we have rule #4 which says, 4. Never question anyone's right to post, the appropriateness of a topic or define the proper way for an Adam fan or Adamtopia Member to behave. Let the moderators do their job. We accept that different people process information and feelings in different ways. What is tedious, redundant or angsting to one reader is sharing and caring to another. Q3's philosophy is to mod as little as possible, and let the thread go where it goes, organically. Remember, scroll is your friend. Waiting for the storm and the new music promised has made many of us a bit peckish. A long as we remember we are all here for love of Adam and, when things get dicey, hold hands and sing a chorus or two of Kum Ba Ya, we'll make it thru. |

In case anyone from TMZ ever visits here... ---------------------------------------- Harvey wants attention. He is the master at getting attention. His life revolves around getting attention. Harvey is presently wielding a double edged sword and instead of gaining respect he is going to lose it in a large way and he is going to end up hurting his own rather than helping. Domestic abuse is an important issue. Obviously Harvey wants to do something with integrity. However, using Adam's name and reputation in a degrading and exploitive manner for the so called benefit of this issue and the so called benefit of the gay community smacks of inauthenticity and a serious lack of integrity. Exploiting Adam's vulnerabilities is not going to help the gay community. Exploiting other people's vulnerabilities only increases fears. Fears of all the people who, like you Harvey, pull people like Adam down by exploiting weak moments. We all do stupid things. We all do extremely stupid things at some point. If you want to have integrity Harvey try for one day not exploiting the downfalls. Break through your barriers to seeing the truth about what you do. Harvey YOU CAN HELP CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER. I DARE YOU TO DO IT. In continuing to link Adam's name to the words "domestic abuse", it is becoming more and more obvious that your ego is trapped in your own false heroic story, that includes this domestic abuse equality lesson for the world. Heroism does not include exploiting human vulnerability for personal benefit. You want to teach people Harvey? Show them how it is done right!! Show videos of people in the gay community who treat each other with deep respect. Stop exploiting human vulnerability. God forbid someone exploit the times you have fallen short of your ideals and make you out to be "bad." God forbid someone show footage of you every time you fall in the dirt. Unfortunately, unfairly damaging Adam's reputation will only come back to hurt the gay community. Harvey is not only about to lose any vestige of respect Adam's fans may have had for anything he says, he is will loose them as his possible allies if he actually does want some attention or help doing good for the gay community. It would be extremely wise of Harvey to apologize for unfairly linking Adam's name to the words "domestic abuse." He can champion the cause without using and exploiting someone in this manner. I dare him to try to step into a space of integrity. He might like it. Skylar, I agree with you about this. Whether Harvey really believes this s**t or not, he is making himself look like a vindictive fool. I do think it is best to ignore him. All we are doing at this point is upsetting ourselves. Adam will deal with it! |

I know I am about to open a can of worms here but isn't any relationship between two men whether it is filial, romantic, or friendship different from a relationship between a man and a woman. Sure there can be some commonalities but men's and women's brain and bodies are wired differently and our experiences growing up are often predicated on our gender. I don't know what Adam and Sauli's relationship is like; maybe they do wrestle for fun. It's just that when the wrestling evolves into something else, they don't end up in the kitchen making pies. |
