Sauli’s sister painted this and gave it to Sauli as a xmas gift. It is Adam (I assume): www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=811065&l=78bc250340&id=143624099028665 (can't bring it here) Here you go

I like Sauli's sisters painting but I don't see anything about it that would seem it was supposed to be Adam?

I don't expect that there will be a lot of promo next week, although I think that we will see more stations starting to spin/poll the song. I think it will be the usual promo, some radio interviews and a couple of tv performances in Feb. I pretty much agree with you. I agree that things will not really get into gear until late January -- and that it will start with radio interviews. But I do not believe this will look like a typical song and album promotion. They have a lot of time for the promotion to unfold and they seem to have something planned. For starters -- RCA released the new single heading into the holidays without any public promotion -- no on-air interviews, no TV performances, just online buzz promo and radio hub meetings and private visits. Add to that BTIKM will be on sale for 5 weeks before the HAC impact date and 6 weeks before the Pop impact date. And to me the oddest part of this whole promotional schedule is that it is secret. Usually there is a promotional appearance schedule on the artist's website -- we know nothing. I am sure they have reasons for the super secret promo plans but it makes it seriously difficult to be a fan! Private note to Adam and his people: Psssst, can you let us know the secret plan? We won't tell anyone. I promise! Just releasing it the past week with no promo has already been unorthodox. And putting the Impact date so far out is also strange, but I cannot imagine any reason in the world they would have Adam sit around with his thumb up his... Um, doing NOTHING the weeks prior to release, especially when we know he's doing UK promo in February. Why in the fuk wouldn't he do standard album promo this month the same as every other artist does? Interviews are kind of his forte, after singing and performing. I still believe he will shoot video next week, segue into standard promo and if there is a big surprise, great, but sitting around doing nothing while the single languishes because no one know about it makes less than zero sense. ETA: Also, Shoshanna's tweet: shoshannastoneshoshanna stone @devenlane @satanicfloret next 3 months are going to be fun for you guys! In jan we shoot for the cover of a high style mag supplement I don't know, but in my world that does not translate to: the first of the three months are going to mean you're sitting around waiting AGAIN while nothing is happening to promote BTIKM.JMHO

I don't think that's supposed to be Adam. For one thing, Adam doesn't play the guitar. For another, when have we ever seen Adam wear a bow tie? I think it's just supposed to be an interesting picture of a guy playing guitar.

I agree. Wut the hell is the point of releasing so early only to not promote it AT ALL until almost a month later? Erm...wat? That would be beyond stupid imo...he needs to do major promo bc at the most it's uber fans who know abt the single. Yes there are quite a bit of non stans catching on but not enough to make an impact.. I still don't get their strategy here but hoping it's a good one. Remember that Toby guy said something about a barrage of promo the likes of which had never been seen before or something? LOL Obvsly this is not verbatim but it was something like that...unless he is just assuming like us. I would think someone in his position would havea hint of whats to come...but Who knows anymore.

Interesting, I really want to see what Adam would do with a bow tie.
Or maybe I just really want to see Adam do anything, bow tie or not.

Mahailia: So glad you were not injured in your scary accident. Since it is super slow today, I thought I would OT, share my similar slip-sliding into the ditch story. I was driving to college in a blizzard. Hit a patch of ice and found myself headed straight toward a snow filled ditch. It unfolded almost in slow motion. Me and my big English Sheepdog in a little Corvair (crap piece of metal that the engine some months later literally fell out of while driving) stuck in a 6 foot ditch on a country road. Fortunately, a good Samaritan stopped by in his truck. He offered to drive me to the nearest farmhouse to call for a tow truck (this was in prehistoric times BC - before cellphones). Knowing a young girl shouldn't ride in cars with strangers, I was a little nervous, but, what else could I do? As we are driving, I see these big metal cans with frost on them in the back of the truck. "Hmmm, gee, what are those?" "That's where I store the bull semen." The guy's job is to drive from farm to farm (Wisconsin, dairy country) take a long tube filled with frozen semen out of the can, stick it up a cow's female parts and leave a deposit. Who knew that impregnating dairy cows could be a viable career option??? Awkward moment ??? ??? ??? Virginal college gal talking to middle aged guy about frozen semen. That's it. End of the story. Got to the farm, got a tow truck, got out of the ditch and continued on to college. But, if I ever write my memoirs, that story will be included.

I think RCA fully believes in BTIKM and its potential, and released it as a early gift to his fans. It is like when an album has been out for a year already and there on the third single, even though that song has been out for a year, if its good enough and with the proper amount of label support, it will take off on radio. So what it has been out for a month not doing much, when RCA unleashes the furry of promotion, this baby will take off.
