I kind of hope RCA has some new innovative "cutting edge" promotion planned for Adam, as opposed to the "usual" promotion they have done for Kelly, Daughtry, and Cook. Those artists seem to be on the down slide, and don't have anywhere near the sales they used to, so I hope, they can work Adam in some new avenues that will generate interest that those artists have lost. Kelly is 10 years into her career nd her single MKIA hit #1 on Hot AC and is about to pass 1 million in sales so I'm not sure it's accurate to say she's lost the interest of the public. Also her album will be 500K within the next month or so which is right on track with her last two releases. IMO we should be hoping and praying for sales like that for Adam given the history of sophmore albums from idols wherein they sell about 50% of their debut if not less. I agree the Queen appearance was unique and different but that wasn't selling Adam's music. I hope Adam gets the same level of promo he got with FYE with some extra appearances on SNL or Today show thrown in. |

All could think of when reading this was OMG - they stick it up while its still frozen?? The poor cows!!  [cringes] No, they do not. And FIWI with the terrain around here sliding into a ditch on a snowy day is SOP for merely driving to work. Husband makes a small fortune pulling people out of ditches every snowfall  |

Adam needs to be everywhere. Singing on every thing he can. Lots or radio interviews and promo. Talk shows, awards shows, etc. He needs to be in and on magazines and just make him inescapable for a short while. Oh and lots of radio play. Plus super duper special things that may not specifically be about his own music--like the queen thing--but that raise his profile and remind people of how awesome he is as a performer, etc.
I hope he can at least get Kelly's and Daughtry's level of promo, and I hope it can exceed it or maybe have some more out of the box promo things happening.
So far the UK article was nice. Amazing actually. I want a lot more WOW AMAZING!! =)

Ok, now I know this is getting seriously OT, but I'll admit I'm weirdly curious. What do you do with the frozen stuff? Defrost in a bit of warm water than use? Or is there a special warmer that goes along with the jerry cans of frozen....um...reproductive material used as one travels from farm to farm? ETA: I know animal husbandry is a serious business and a family friend with a horse farm used to laugh and say that it was a heck of a lot easier to buy what you needed than to drive your mare to stud (particularly since young stallions were "sometimes clueless"). I just never quite had the courage to ask what that entailed! |

Just because WE don't know what is happening does not mean nothing is happening.
I will leave it to Adam and his team, all of whom are quite competent, to surprise and delight me.

i trained and worked as an artificial insemenator with the scottish milk marketing board ,ha many years ago ,i did this work for 5 years ,the semen was kept it tanks of liquid nitrogen ,in straws made of plastic ,we would take out the straw and put it in our teeth so it would thaw with our breath whilst we prepared the gun ,some of the older semen that had been stored a while ,usually for specialist breeders would be in a wider straw ,when held between the teeth they would sometimes split,giving us a rather nasty mouthfull

I just signed up for Hit Predictor and rated songs for about 40 minutes but have to get to work now, and NO Adam at all. Lots of the same singers though, all pretty boring stuff. And why does it start with several country songs? Sure not hot AC to me!
