I got some very sad news yesterday. My SIL who had been bravely fighting cancers since Dec had a set back she could not overcome, and passed away. I will miss her so much. We have had three deaths in our family since Christmas, that really makes you count your blessings, and not want to take things for granted, especially health. Thank you group, having Monday check in really helps me stay focused on this Irish, upwards and onwards ! Cathy nocturnal -- So sorry to hear about your loss - I hope the rest of 2012 brings you peace and happiness. Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts foreverOne thing I have found that you can count on, is that the ATOP community will always be here for you. and don't worry about the Monday weigh in Day disappearing ... looks like the MAPRIL release date has now segued to "by JUNE" !!

After two weeks of losing nothing, I lost 1.4 pounds this week. Really depressing. I have now lost total: 18.6 pounds. I have one more week to make 20 pounds total. Depressing. We are meeting Mangokat and her husband this noon for lunch. I will let you know if I make it through without ordering a big, fat cheeseburger and fries.

My gosh irish ...that is amazing... why depressed...you obviously are much more determined and have greater fortitude than me. Well done. and you are still posting...we seemed to have lost a few along the way.
The date of the 20th caught me by surprise...I forgot we had an end date re album release. irish, you can at least attain your goal. Doubt I will get there.
This week I am exactly the same 6.5 pound loss Still have 3.5 more to go.
I need to step up my activity as I must say, it has not been that extensive the last couple of weeks. I love to skate several times a week but that is not hitting all the muscle groups, and I only get a little glow on ...not outright sweaty. I just have other things to do after giving up a morning or an afternoon to skate.
The skating stops this month, then I will be back into the gym more. If I don't loose it by the 20th I am still marching on in my goal to be more fit.

I was good at lunch today. Ordered the "pick 2" - an oriental chicken (grilled chicken, not fried) salad and a chicken wrap. So far I have been good all day. I did set a goal to have a piece of pizza on the 20th, and I think we are going to really do that. Then hopefully I can get back on and lose another 20 pounds. I really need to keep my weight down with these bad hips and knees and all the other joints filled with arthritis. I think others will sign in later in the week. Monday comes so quickly, not everyone is prepared to weigh in. At least I hope we didn't lose everyone.

aaaaaaaaa, runs in late. I forgot! I thought about it last night but I'm another one with relatives passing away. My grandmother, (expected, grateful it was relatively fast all things considered, said my goodbyes and cried my eyes out when I saw her several months ago). And keeping my dad from duking it out with his sisters and brothers is a ball of fun over the telephone. Ok it's Monday, well late Monday and yay for those of you who have checked in. I'm same ol, same ol. Don't anyone plan on stopping on the 20th. We'll stay the course till the album comes out at least. We've still got people getting in shape for Sonisphere and/or Burning Man. Maybe we'll jump start it again next week.

jablea so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing ... hope you can shake off the "family" stresses and get back into YOU soon. March 20th might have been our 1st goal date but I'm happy to continue on until MAPRIL = which can also be qualified as "released by June" (Adam promised this in a recent radio interview) ... irish1139 you have done so well with your diet - you are my hero ..so happy you've lost more weight this week I think I might join you with a taste of fast (comfort) food on March 20th .. my reward will be a serve of beer battered fish and chips (french fries) ~ISH [/size] WEEK 10 End Goal: 6K LOSS TW: .40K ----- TOTAL LOSS: 5.95K (converter says 13.11lbs) It has been a real struggle for me to get the scales to drop this week ...but I have lost .40 kilo (just under 1 lb) - I did pick up the exercise but am now in trouble with my doctor as I've done a little too much, I have to pull back to 50% less for a while longer until he's happy I'm totally healed (from the surgery). I am on a longer journey than just 6k's ... so next week I'll set another goal. Cheers LadyOz

In fact doing anything apart from Berting must burn more calories. How about we do 1 minute of jumping jacks each time we feel a flail coming on? No loss this week but I do intend to lose my remaining 3 lbs before the album release. Jablea and Nocturnal; so sorry
