Don't anyone plan on stopping on the 20th. We'll stay the course till the album comes out at least. We've still got people getting in shape for Sonisphere and/or Burning Man. Maybe we'll jump start it again next week. So glad to hear you "say" that ...I was going to just keep posting here as my motivation to continue...so great to know others will continue as well. nocturanal and jablea, saddened for your losses...always such challenging times, and every family is different in how they cope...best wishes to you both.

I lost 4 oz. this week. This is the third week I have lost next to nothing. My grand total, however, is 19 lbs. Now I want to pretend we are starting over and my goal is 20 lbs. over the next three months. Anybody think the album will be out by then?
My husband's total loss is 15.2 lbs. He is now into a 34 pant, and he looks really skinny to me. I have 40 more lbs. to go. Ugh. I think Jerry is finished dieting. I notice he hasn't been watching portions this last week. I used to throw away any left overs, and I haven't had any lately. I will keep on keeping on and I hope you all will too.

~ISH Thank goodness for "ish" (and ladyoz for our graphics). Dagnabit I'm late again. Didn't even think of weighing in although I have been reading books and trying to be more responsible regarding food. Good news, I'm down a pound maybe 2 so -4 total. Yeah, not much compared to most of you who have been here since the beginning but almost as much as last year so I'm happy. And the nice thing is that it is easier to stay close to that amount even if I'm bad some days. So that to me means my set point is going down too. After last year's loss and then being able to stay at that amount I think I'm leaning toward being a firm believer in set points. Now for those who want to burn more calories while stanning I suggest standing. It may be harder to type but if you can get the monitor pointed up it's just fine for scrolling. Sheesh - hits forehead. Is today the 20th? I'm totally blaming work and with good cause because my boss did something last week while I was gone that totally made our entire group look like buffoons. Ok, I'm totally going to get with it now, I'll jump start tonight as soon as the new thread goes up.

Goal :20. This week 0. Total: 14 Stayed the same this week. But didn't gain, so it's ok. I am down a full size.... That's cool. I need to do measurements and compare against January's measurements, that may be more encouraging. Another plus, really liking the healthier eating not missing junk food. I have more energy. I am going to keep weighing in too. The encouragement helps. And, Thank you all for the kind messages of sympathy. So flailing, definately burns more calories that berting. So when Adam finally gives us that new release date, we should definately flail around the block a few times, lol. Good luck this week Trespasser's !

CHECK-IN TIME √WEEK 11 End Goal: 6K now 10K LOSS TW: .35K ----- TOTAL LOSS: 6.3K (converter says 13.89lbs) Weight loss has really slowed down ... but as long as I'm losing - I'm happy nocturnal, I agree that flailing is definitely a better contributor to weight loss than sitting on our bums berting and as an added bonus, listening to those new Trespassing snippets I've found myself dancing around (who can resist the great dance songs!) FIANLLY, jablea thank you again for being such a great motivator and moderator of this group .... saw your invite on the NEWS THREAD .... hope we have some new participators .... I have found it has been the funnest time I ever had while fighting the WEIGHT battle.

~ISH Yeah, we have a new date, May 15 so seven weeks out, plan accordingly . I'm feeling like things are working for me again. Down another pound and I've weighed in this week sometimes at down 2. So -4 total but just a smidgen shy of -5. Spring is here, the weather has been mostly nicer if we can get rid of the dang wind. My knee is feeling better so biking and walking are back on the agenda. And I'm going to be working more. Actually that's a good thing for my weight loss as I don't snack. Onward! ooops, make that Downward!
