~ISH [/size] Well no weight changes for me this week, but I am reporting even more progress with my knee. And I'm putting a lot of the credit into a supplement you may have heard of called MSM. Last year in our shape up thread we had quite a discussion on Glucosomine, most of the trials say it doesn't work, most of us who have used it say that it does. Well MSM is added to some Glucosomine pills (it will say on the bottle) and sometimes it's not. I bought a canister of MSM white flakes (from Bend Again) at a home show two weekends ago. I add a teaspoon once a day to something I drink (some people just swallow it plain) and I think the results have been amazing. MSM is an old remedy, it's been around a long time and is a natural substance in the body. Of course like everything else that's natural it's testing doesn't produce results much different than a sugar pill in clinical trials. You have to decide for yourself if it works for you.

Goal: 30lbs. Last week: 0. Total to date : 19lbs Ok, so I raised my goal for the May 15th release date and didn't loose an ounce, lol I am going to take measurements tho, because I am down a shirt size and two pants sizes. Maybe I am doing better in inches than pounds - fine with me. Blood glucose is also under control and stable, thanks to low GL/GI eating, and some cinnamon/chromium supplements. Feeling better and more energetic. So happy it's spring and green again in MN. Ready for some extreme gardening ! Good Luck this week, everyone! Don't forget to flail a couple miles when Adam announces the second single. Hoping for Trespassing, but ok with NCOE.

I keep putting off weighing in as I've gained another pound. :(
I blame my husband as we have wine with our meals most nights when he's home. I can't let him drink an entire bottle of wine himself can I? I'm good at losing weight when he's away.
This weekend isn't going to be good for me either as it's our Anniversary and with hot cross buns and chocolate....

I'm quoting adamuse here as that sums up my weekend ... indulgence supreme I had been AWOL last week .... so the small loss I'm reporting was the sum total of TWO WEEKS - a careful week followed by one of diet abandonment - but I sure had FUN ;D End Goal: 10K LOSS 2WKS: .30K ----- TOTAL LOSS: 7.05K (converter says 15.4lbs) I'm digging really DEEP this week to get motivated - it was far too easy to fall back into food excesses and little exercise. It's back to basics once again .... smaller portions, basic homemade food and juicing, lots of movement and plenty of sleep.

A Water tip from Dr. Oz Fruits and Vegetables have water in them. Yep, and it counts. So if you are having a hard time getting all the water down that you need to each day, eat more or count more of your fruits and veggies. I'm still steady at -4 but I'm wearing my new pants.

I lost 2 pounds last week, but I think it was the two pounds I gained the week before. Still trying to stay on my diet religiously. Dieting is my new religion (along with Adam stalking). I need to lose 19 lbs. by June 23 when we go north to my granddaughter's high school graduation. It would be nice to go back looking just a little thinner than I am now. I need to fit into my medium clothes by then.
I don't know if I told you that I have three wardrobes. One is small, one is medium, and one is large. The first 19 pounds I lost took me out of most of my large clothes. I am in my medium and some large at this point in time. I need to be into my medium tops by June 23 so I can at least make a few outfits that look decent. Weight has definitely been my "cross to bear." I had to look up the word "bear." I can never remember when to use bare and bear. Does anyone know a rule for this word. I am tired of looking it up in the dictionary whenever I try to write the word bear or bare.
Onward and downward ladies. We can do this. I have lost many people (weight) over my lifetime. I can do it once more.

Well I weighed in at 7.5 loss of my 10 pounds...but that is not truly accuarate as I have a virus right now...bad cough and laryngitis, so not eating as much or differently. I am posting in the middle of the night right now as I am coughing and it needs to settle down before climbing back into bed. My prescription cough medicine is actually working. ...Way better tonight trying to sleep. I have an appetite but veggies just do not seem to make the list right now. ha ha
I have not given up ....and will keep logging in to check on the few regulars in our push to get from the big to med clothes. I am not going the small route. I cannot afford a whole new wardrobe! I gave all those clothes away years ago, and besides I was pretty lean as I was working out hard with a trainer and was a bit over zealous. Since then... a car accident ... older age ....no need to push that hard equates to moderation for the back and joints... making the body happier.
Even with this weight loss the wrinkles just seem to take over the face. Yah why do we loose in the face and not in the waist???
Onward Everyone...and LOWER...and lower..and goal

Goal: 30 lbs. This week: 2 lbs ! Total : 21 Flailed off two more pounds, YAH!! I had one purple peep, and 3 jellybeans on Easter. I had to work, so that helped, the candy was gone by the time I was home. Adam was fabulous on NNN ! Dying for the new album. We need it to dance into great shape! Good luck this week !

~ISH - one month left [/size] Posting this before the muscle relaxer makes me woozy, lol. Major pain between the shoulder blades. Worked most of it out finally with a massage therapist. She told me my emotional center (the mid portion of my back) was out of balance and I was carrying all my tension there. I don't know where I am on the loss this week but I'm -5 for this year, matching what I lost last year so yeah! 30 days to go!

I lost two new pounds this week. On my second 19 lb. goal session, I have lost two new pounds. I figure I will take 3 three-month sessions with a 19 lb. goal each session. I will lose this damn weight once and for all.
Oh, the games we play when it comes to weight. I am in my second session and I have lost two pounds. I have 17 pounds to go in my second session. Everybody got that?
I noticed my face was the first to really look like I had lost weight. The wrinkles are just deepening as I write. I am going to have to get some new make up for "old" people. There's always something to make me crazy. Anybody know of a good makeup for older women. I use Revlon now and it has worked pretty well for the last ten years. I think I need something to make me look softer. I am so white that I look dead without some color on my face, so going without makeup when I leave the house is a no-no.
Anyway, I have lost 2 more pounds in my second session of losing another 19 pounds. Thanks for maintaining the weight loss part of this website. It does make me watch what I am eating because I have to post here each Monday. It is a good reminder. Thanks to all those who still remember to sign in. It helps me.
