Posted this in numbers but I thought I'd post it here too since peeps aren't used to checking number thread yet. There is a thread on Pulse for CHR #51-200. It is updated infrequently and doesn't always show all the way down to #200 but I've been watching for BTIKM to show up. At the bottom of today's update the poster added a couple of extra songs one of which was BTIKM. This report gives us this last week and the week before for CHR spins. LW TW Artist Title Label TW LW B AI 149 135 ADAM LAMBERT Better Than I Know Myself 19/RCA 25 24 1 0.140 B=Bullet Again this is just CHR/Top 40. I couldn't find a similar thread in the HAC section. I tried to space out the headers so they would be over what they apply to but the spaces disappear. Can anyone tell me what the trick is to formatting your text within a post? I tried the pre formatted text button and it shrunk the text too small to read. LW TW Artist Title Label TW LW B AI

Can anyone tell me what the trick is to formatting your text within a post? I tried the pre formatted text button and it shrunk the text too small to read. Had this problem when I was creating the charts for the Numbers Thread for FYE. Sadly enough, the only real solution I found it to 1) generate your text or figures with your favorite word processing or other program, then 2) clip it with whatever tool you have on your computer to save as a picture, and 3) upload with photobucket or imageshack. I've never found a reliable way to organize text on Proboards other than this method. |

I'm curious why they haven't played it yet since they've had it for some time now? Q3 mentioned the date radio stations are allowed to play BTIKM.. does anyone know when that date was? And if it's past, why aren't more stations playing it? Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere.. not jogging my memory.  Radio release was 12/20 in the US and Canada. Most of radio shuts down for the holidays and nothing really will happen until tomorrow. First thing that people need to do when then get back is read all the old email.  Then the Program Directors will get around to adding songs to the playlists, and Adam will start doing radio interviews. A few stations have indicated that they will play BTIKM after the holidays including Z100. RCA will be working to get the song on the radio and I am sure it will get airplay. Sure. Ohh that's right.. it's coming back to me now. Thanks for reiterating! :D |

Cassie, TY so much, I just sent you pm, because as you rightfully noted, topic does not quite belong. Adamstorm is finally here and it is time to get more disciplined again and take the chit chat offline. It is just amazing how many different topics Adam can trigger. Anything from bull semen to language translation issues and ASL. But enough of that, back to Adam.
I think that storm is close enough now that we better start battening down the hatches.
Hoping for a few add bells tomorrow. HAC for sure, but perhaps even a few top 40.
Having my fingers crossed.

Yes, it was released to radio on 12/20 but most radio stations do not spin new songs during the holidays because a lot of the program directors go on vacation and sometimes the stations switch over to holiday music. Last week there were no adds reported because Mediabase(who tracks stations playlists) takes time off too. Some stations have a little leeway to play new or unexpected stuff and that's how the song got played as it did but a lot of stations are more rigid in their playlists and only certain people can approve new songs for play. Adam did get some adds today but since the label has the impact date set for the end of the month it won't be surprising if most stations wait until then to add it. Also, Kelly's next single is impacting right before Adam's. Any adds that come in before the impact date are what I personally would call goodwill adds in that it shows the station is willing to support the song early. Stations that drag their feet after the impact date most likely are waiting until the song reaches some chart milestone. Some stations don't add until the songs reach a certain point of the charts like Top 40, 30 or even 20. Bottom line is there is a ways to go before any angsting will be necessary. Does it matter strategically for numbers or anything when the stations add? It seems like ages since BTIKM came out already.. guess I got a little ahead of myself. :  Thanks for the thorough explanation!  |

My favorite CHR radio station plays a wide variety of Top 40 but with a rap/urban leaning. Just started following on twitter and discovered that of the 250 artists they follow, Adam is one of them (yay). I don't remember hearing them play WWFM but they did play IIHY. Fingers crossed that they will play BTIKM (a bunch)!!

I'm really glad to see Adam recognized as Executive Producer on this. If it flops (Not gonna happen!), he'll take the heat. But when it SOARS, he'll be seen as more of a true artist. Yes? |
