Question: Will BTIKM be counted as a 2011 US released song or as a 2012 song for those annual reviews that are running on calendar year? Can it show up as 2012 in all those reports that really matter?
Just wondering?

Can anyone tell me what the trick is to formatting your text within a post? I tried the pre formatted text button and it shrunk the text too small to read. Had this problem when I was creating the charts for the Numbers Thread for FYE. Sadly enough, the only real solution I found it to 1) generate your text or figures with your favorite word processing or other program, then 2) clip it with whatever tool you have on your computer to save as a picture, and 3) upload with photobucket or imageshack. I've never found a reliable way to organize text on Proboards other than this method. It is a bit complicated but the best way to do it is to use the TABLE formating keys on the toolbar above. The 6th icon on the bottom row is to format the whole table. Highlight the entire table data and click it. Command code is [ table][ tr][ td][ /td][ /tr][ /table]. Next icon does entire row [ tr][ /tr] The next icon does horizontal row cells [ td][ /td] You will get a cool table like this.... This | is a | TEST | TEST | TEST | Days | 123 | 123232 | 123 | 123232 | Weeks | 123 | 123232 | 123 | 123232 |
Note: I added spaces to the command codes so they would show.

It was purely by accident that we even learnt of Adam’s existence. When we heard about a singer who was jumping off stage to snog lucky individuals at the front row of his shows we knew this would be something our readers would love to read about. Soon after we published we were blown away by the number of Adam fans who posted, sharing their favourite songs and videos with us, and an equally large number of people commented to say they had never heard of Adam, but were seriously impressed by his vocals. It was then we made it our mission to back Adam in all ways possible, and with his new music out this year we’re planning more of the same.

I think we saw this before, but I don't remember the pic. Could be because my speed reading sucks. www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/adamlambert/view/37741/Adam Lambert crowned Pressparty's 2012 King & QueenSunday, January 1, 2012 Pressparty are proud to announce that vocal powerhouse, Adam Lambert, has WON the honour of 2012's King & Queen Award!
Our King & Queen annual poll gives YOU a chance to vote for who you believe is set to dominate and rule this year's music industry, rather than follow the usual route of music critics' analysis.
On hearing the news that he's been crowned, Lambert has issued the following statement to us:
"I'm thrilled to be counted as a king by my fans. The Glamberts and Pressparty are truly royalty!"
The 'Better Than I Know Myself' singer swept the boards in the awards this year! His hotly anticipated upcoming album, 'Trespassing', is scheduled for release this March, instigating his faithful fans to vote Adam the King AND the Queen!
His most recent appearance at the MTV EMA's grand finalé, which featured the velvet-throated superstar stepping into the hallowed shoes of Freddie Mercury to perform alongside the remaining members of Queen, also helped him return to the public domain and win new fans.

Thanks Rihannsu. I remember when Randy Jackson said Adam used his falsetto and I asked myself, WHERE??? But technically, am I correct that Adam is not using his falsetto in BTIKM? That would be one for Cassie to answer but I don't think so. Adam uses falsetto VERY sparingly with the exception of maybe Loaded Smile which I believe he described as being in his falsetto. Not positive about that though. I think a lot of times it is really hard to tell because his falsetto is not as weak sounding as most guy's. I agree with you both. No falsetto in BTIKM. MAAAAAAAABE, just remotely, "deep down I KNOW" when he does that little pop flip on the word, it might just be falsetto. Of course, it is too low for what we think of falsetto, but, then, range is an arbitrary concept for Adam. Adam has talked about using head voice and using falsetto, but I always got the impression he was using the terms that his listener would understand, not what was technically most accurate. I can't think of any examples of Adam singing for any amount of time in falsetto. Those light, high notes are all head voice. Those powerful high notes are a combination of head and chest. But, you are correct that most people call any high, light notes sung by a guy as falsetto. Used to bug me with Randy, too.

That's the only time I've actually heard Adam say anything himself about singing in falsetto was the one interview where he described Loaded Smile that way. All the other times are just him not correcting someone else who labels something falsetto.

All the other times are just him not correcting someone else who labels something falsetto. I certainly do not want to argue with Adam himself on this point, as he certainly knows his voice very well. I went back and listened to it again, and............I think he is using his light head voice, not falsetto. It has more resonance than false does, and it blends seamlessly as he walks down the pitches to what is definitely NOT falsetto. I think he was using the term that would be most understandable to the interviewer and the public who have not a CLUE what head voice is. We know that Adam does know the proper term because when he mentored Tim Urban on Idol, we saw him ask if Tim could do the ending of his song in head voice. (Turns out he couldn't, but, it was a great idea. Tim just didn't have the control or the confidence to execute it.) JMHO
