Very unpopular opinion here regarding "Underneath", which many liken to WWTLF as in the power of Adam's voice as well as its message. I don't like the song and I thought that a different opinion might be a good thing. It is just a tad too dramatic for me and I feel similarly about other songs like "There I Said It" or even "Soaked". More understated emotion as in "Runnin" or "The Original High" is more my vibe. Can't help it. Two of my favourites❗️❗️❗️ My thoughts exactly. I may enjoy some of Adam’s dramatic songs, but the bombastic songs rarely resonate for me. I cannot see those as commercially the best showcase for Adam. And they were not chosen to be. I do wish Avicii management would have allowed Avicii to honour the artists who recorded for the True album. I asked a DJ at a wedding to play Lay Me Down. The energy on the dance floor really revved up, and I made a point of saying it was Adam Lambert and they were surprised!! It is criminal, but the US and Canada radio rarely ever play his music. He may be resigned to that … but just makes me sad for him. A song like LMD ….have to think it would have gone far given a chance. Songs that are personal to Adam, he shares in his own concerts. Live in concert….those songs fit in ….and appease the many who love them. It looks like we have similar taste in Adam's music, and I too find Lay Me Down very catchy. I would have considered that song single material as well. When it comes to Adam and ballads, I can connect better with a more reigned in and vulnerable tone, and "Believe" comes to mind. People liked it a lot. Same with Mad World back then. I am a bit surprised that "Closer To You" didn't have more of an impact. Well, it was not a single.

Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever...always my favorite song of their sets. Thank you. Adam does that beautifully.

With regards to making a donation toward Adam's "Feel Something Foundation" in honor of his birthday, I will donate this weekend ahead of the big milestone and send a tweet about it, in hope that other fans will catch on. $40 seems like a reasonable amount, but others may feel differently, which is okay by me. I don't think that anybody should feel pressured during these challenging times. LOL I'm not an Underneath fan either. I find it overwrought!

I've heard it played in a store once or twice and I've noticed heads starting to nod to the beat.
