Just checked yesterday's thread. Not sure why Adam was trending yesterday. ?????
In response to LindaG23's commment about Adam early song release choices, I have to say that WWFM is nowhere near one of my favorite Adam songs. It's tends to plod along to me. Not very exciting. But many fans love it. I agree that Shady should have been a single. That song really MOVES. It's sexy and dancey and I love it. When he does the Shady/Fever/Lay Me Down trio, it's a real highlight for me. I can't figure out what the label bosses are thinking when they choose the singles. I think Adam has missed some great opportunities by not being able to put out the right songs. Not always his fault, of course.
Adam is deep into his career now. The aim is to sustain and remain. It's not easy. He's never been very mainstream to begin with. We loyal fans love him no matter what. Hope that new projects will keep his presence strong.

It always says "Thanks for voting. We have already counted your vote" after I vote. Taylor Hicks?! Come on! Get busy Glamberts! I know this is a way for them to get clicks on their website, but as girldrummer said, it's a matter of fan support. There is no way anyone other than Adam is the greatest Idol alum of all time! |

Re the last post yesterday re the richest Empire artists...I thought Adam was no longer with Empire and we're waiting for the announcement of the new label?
Voted for Adam in the ridiculous poll...I hate those things. Voted against my better judgement lol.

The poll ends tomorrow, not today. {sigh} If there's one thing I don't miss about the earlier fandom days, it's the incessant voting in polls. The ones by radio stations forcing fans to perform like trained monkeys for one measly spin were the worst. The poll is from an Alabama website, i.e. Taylor Hicks' home state. If it were anyone other than Adam as his opponent, I'd be amused to see him win.  I'm assuming the reason Adam was trending was because of Glamberts tweeting about that damn poll. As for that Empire article, I was curious and took a look at it. Per Shosh, he does have a new label. I never understood how Adam landed there to begin with, and that article just brought that confusion home even more. Every other artist listed was a rapper. Adam stuck out like a sore thumb on the roster. |
