First chance I've had to post today. Lynne I will be having you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers today. Sending lots of positive energy your way. This Fault Magazine looks really interesting to me. Anxious to see the 'previews' they talked about and the magazine copy this Spring. I hope they realize that they need to make lots of extra copies of this #10 Spring issue! With all the Adam related treats I'm sure they're getting.....if they didn't know before the shoot....they know now! 8-) Adam looked gorgeous in all those pics from last night! He and Sauli look so happy. They look 'settled and comfortable' together in public now. The pics Sauli posted of the spinach and carrot dishes really look good and healthy. I guess I'll give them a try. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSLALA and SNAPPIE!![/color][/size]

If he becomes a CA resident, he will have to get a CA license. But since he is working for a Finnish company, I am pretty sure his driver's license is good until whenever. :0 I can't remember the details of why we had to do this. But when we moved to California with a visa and a work permit to live and work here (same situation as with Sauli), we had to apply for the driver's license. If you are an immigrant without an existing license in the US, you have to take the driving test and fill in the traffic test questionnaire thing. If you are a tourist, you can drive in the US if you have a local license from your home country. Also, having a California driver's license just makes it a lot more easier to prove your identity / age than carrying a passport with you. Finnish driver's license usually is not good enough even to buy beer at a store.

twitter.com/#!/JustAFanAL/status/157164719462027264/photo/1 Sauli has a new tatoo. In Finnish OOTA means wait. I don't know what the point is?? What does Sauli mean by that

Look, you guys. I'm sorry. Maybe I'm the one who should get banned. I don't want to break the rules and just repeat my post ... the charity:water thing was wonderfully successful as a charitable endeavor and sort of fuggled up as a fan activity. I feel it could have been handled better. I think there are still some fans who don't feel up to a huge charity bacchanalia like we had last year. That's all.
I see that my opinion is in the minority and that there is a group consensus on the matter that what I said was not OK. I accept that and it doesn't seem like there's much more to say.

WAIT--forgive me if I am mistaken but people are complaining because Adam didn't THANK them for donating to charity on his behalf and therefore bc of the butthurt that he shouldn't try and give to charity anymore on his bday because it may hurt his fans feelings? Is that the gist? Hope I'm wrong.... BRB--flinging myself off a cliff. I know right LOL as adam would say entitlement is not sexy.... I think the gist of the posts here are that we are not complaining.

[wanders in wearing lolly hat]
Man, those pictures are so freaking awesome that I'm grinning from ear to ear.
[sighs happily]
I just hope that *if* Adam decides to do a charity this year, that it helps as many people as his choices have in the past. I loved the past choices of both Donors Choose and charity:water in that both seemed useful to people who really needed the help.
[grins] Must have been surprising to Adam when the gesture was probably initiated by a large desire to do something useful...which included not receiving anymore inflatable kangaroos!
ETA: And someday I will learn how to spell. Really.

Don't be silly bb. ETA: I will also say that, yes, the charity:water photos were handled badly. The intention was good, but the execution was lousy. [smiles] And as always, no one should feel obliged in any way to donate if they can't, or heck even simply don't want to. Its perfectly ok.

Junie--don't feel bad. Just don't waste your time worrying about what butthurt fans who obvsly can't put aside their own selfish needs for CHARITY think. Ultimately it was not a fan activity, it was raising money for charity and anyone who gave for the sole reason of getting a pat on the back from Adam is the one who needs to check themselves.
*hugs junie*
