Look, you guys. I'm sorry. Maybe I'm the one who should get banned. I don't want to break the rules and just repeat my post ... the charity:water thing was wonderfully successful as a charitable endeavor and sort of fuggled up as a fan activity. I feel it could have been handled better. I think there are still some fans who don't feel up to a huge charity bacchanalia like we had last year. That's all. I see that my opinion is in the minority and that there is a group consensus on the matter that what I said was not OK. I accept that and it doesn't seem like there's much more to say. But this is what I meant by "perception is everything." In my circle of fan friends, the campaign was a complete success and the fan people I know were thrilled we raised so much money! Nothing was "fuggled up" but the photos and you said you weren't referring to those. Donating to any charity is always a choice and anyone who thinks they have had enough has every right to not donate. And as far as being ready to donate this year, I am ready!!

OK, so I've always wanted a list of the media outfits we love and a list of those that are ignorant dults/disrespectful/don't get Adam. I just like knowing which are the ones with integrity that are respectful of Adam and know he is both an amazingly talented superstar and a good guy. So, I opened a thread in the Salon section under "Inspired by Adam" to Rate different media outfits. Of course I cannot do this alone. I need your help. If you think of a media outfit that has been consistantly cool would you please ad it and give it a rating (1-10 scale.) and if you have the time ad a little note with why. If no time just the name and the rating. (i.e JustJared is a 10) It just would be nice to have in one area a list of some of the best ones even adding the name of the post author. This way we can kind of take back the power so to speak ; )

If he becomes a CA resident, he will have to get a CA license. But since he is working for a Finnish company, I am pretty sure his driver's license is good until whenever. :0 I can't remember the details of why we had to do this. But when we moved to California with a visa and a work permit to live and work here (same situation as with Sauli), we had to apply for the driver's license. If you are an immigrant without an existing license in the US, you have to take the driving test and fill in the traffic test questionnaire thing. If you are a tourist, you can drive in the US if you have a local license from your home country. Also, having a California driver's license just makes it a lot more easier to prove your identity / age than carrying a passport with you. Finnish driver's license usually is not good enough even to buy beer at a store. been a long time since I had to know some of this stuff, but I think you are correct. As a tourist you can drive most any country with your current license but the visa can/could make a difference. They let me drive in the UK with my Ca license and I only got lost in a round about for 30 min.

LOL, no one's done anything ban-worthy. Your opinion may not be popular but I know that there were some fans who felt the same way. A feeling is a feeling, and if some people feel like the charity:water thing left them somehow disappointed, that's how it is. I'm not sure how many exclamation points and thank-yous it would take from Adam to make it clear that he is grateful for fans' efforts on behalf of the charities he's supported. That's a personal thing. Some people like more acknowledgment of their charity work and others don't want any. I would say that anyone who feels bad about how Adam handles his charity endorsements might want to consider just donating to the charity of their own choice and stay away from fan-related charity happenings. No big deal.

A little background on the Talk. I can remember posting about this last year too. Many fans were there and witnessed that they kept running out of time. The guy thta does the countdown to commercials was having a fit for the whole hour! Adam and the conversations got cut short several times.

I'm with Hoppers, juniemoon! Dont be silly bb!! You are entitled to your opinion whether anyone agrees with you or not. We all are, and that's what is so great about this community. We all see things differently. We all *talk* to different peeps in different places and see their point of view also. Just because someone doesn't agree with you does not mean you shouldn't be here. I, for one, appreciate everyones opinion whether I agree with it or not. Gives me something to think about. I hope you understand what I'm saying...lol!!
