I actually don't think it is the same situation. Were you working for a company based in your home country at the time? Sauli has a visa as a journalist working for another country. This VISA and rules are probably different thtn the one you are referring to. But I am just guessing! :-/ I did some googling, and it seems like there is no difference regarding the driver's license rules based on the type of the work permit. If you have a work permit, or if you are an immigrant in the US, you need to get a driver's license, if you want to drive. But this is definitely not clear. There is also some variance between states. As a person who moved to the U.S. on a manager visa from their company I can assure you that you need to change your driver's licence to a local one within a short period of time (30 or 45 days). I learnt it the hard way as I was too busy with my work when we moved here to go to the DMV

I can't remember the details of why we had to do this. But when we moved to California with a visa and a work permit to live and work here (same situation as with Sauli), we had to apply for the driver's license. If you are an immigrant without an existing license in the US, you have to take the driving test and fill in the traffic test questionnaire thing. If you are a tourist, you can drive in the US if you have a local license from your home country. Also, having a California driver's license just makes it a lot more easier to prove your identity / age than carrying a passport with you. Finnish driver's license usually is not good enough even to buy beer at a store. been a long time since I had to know some of this stuff, but I think you are correct. As a tourist you can drive most any country with your current license but the visa can/could make a difference. They let me drive in the UK with my Ca license and I only got lost in a round about for 30 min. LOLZ -- for me it was in Sevilla -- got pushed to the center of a round and stayed there for quite awhile!

To prove how sad I am I have just looked at pics of Sauli's neck and he has had the cross since last year. I think it was the red carpet where they first held hands, but I am not Gelly so I may be wrong, also I haven't got the hang of posting pics. Pics of the left side of his neck appear to be a bit thin on the ground, well in my collection anyway. eta this is the earliest I found the cross, but I've not got many pictures to check :

I just requested from KLLC 97.3 San Francisco and I said, "can I request Adam Lambert's new song?", and she said, "sure", then I said the name of the song BTIKM, and she said, "I know, we're the first station to play it"! ;D

RT ktrayyy: LizAllenMusic I'm assisting an international press junket for Adam lambert and they are gonna interview him ahhh I had a feeling this was a "junket." The 20-minute interview time for Byron seemed very specific!! @ktrayyy @hooplapf hahaha well they're about to be in the same room, so we'll see! LOL, Byron's about to interview Adam now! (I tweeted her telling her both are hot, watch out for spontaneous combustion!)

I loved the Charity Water effort and hope he has another charity effort for this birthday. I don't need any thanks from Adam. He has already given me so much. Isn't that the beauty of giving, doing it because you want to and not expecting anything in return? Adam never gets anything in return for always pimping other artists, but he continues to do it. The guy has an amazing heart. ITA but I must admit I was happy to get the photo 2 weeks ago !!!
