I did mildly like Kelly previously & she does have a good voice, but her twitter dive into politics a week or so ago and the incredibly stupid way she did that really turned me off. I'm sure she will do well with the anthem, but I can't be happy to see her get it all things considered.

Kelly Clarkson - National Anthem Thank you all for the information and video. I've heard his name, of course, but I really have not heard his music. Maybe I'm just "walked the eyes and ears closed by him.". Probably other Finns know more about his music.  |

Craazy, I have apologized for my post this morning which proved to be so unpopular. Needless to say I wish I had kept my mouth shut. It seems to me that the vast, vast majority of folks on the site loved your idea and are up for another big charity drive. Perhaps the thing to do is not to compare it to charity:water one way or another, but to think of this year as a clean slate. Again, Junie, why would anyone here ever feel they need to keep their mouth shut? I feel absolutely comfortable here saying whatever goes through my confused mind--but I never get my feelings hurt and apologize just because I'm ignored or the vast majority don't agree with something I say. If I want to honestly share my feelings, I just do--and don't take others' opinions personally. And Craazy, you really did ask a simple question: Anyone interested in a twitter campaign to alert Adam of our readiness to donate to charity of his choice for his BD? If at first you don't succeed, just ask again! You KNOW how sidetracked we get and how excite! we are (especially on a day with beautiful new pics etc.!) So, in answer to your question...I am giving Adam more time to announce to us what his charity choice is. If he doesn't, I will join in if Atop chooses to do something as a group--or just tweet him Happy Birthday! It's all gooooooooooooood! |

Craazyforadam please don't go. I think we're all proud of the charity campaigns we've done. I think people wanted juniemom to know she was loved as we want you to know you are loved, too. I don't agree with her liking Ron Paul either but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, including Kelly. |
